How dare some of y'all The only other person who may debate with me here on Eastside is my Scottish Mexican brother Divac He roots for Chavez Chavez was great no doubt, but then Chavez was no Marquez :deal
Tell me who did he beat, beside Pacquiao ? Likar Ramos, Fedechengco, a shot Barrera , a 40 yr. old Casamayor or Baby Bull 2x ?
In terms of a complete fundamental skill-set, especially offense & counter-punching? No. (although facets of JCC's skill-set were/are vastly underrated, including defense where he might actually be Marquez's superior) In terms of greatness? Yes, Chavez surpasses Marquez. ...and I like Marquez a lot more. It just isn't arguable. I'm the biggest real (non-troll) JMM fan on here.
All of them and more, and I'm not really sure why you're even bringing up Ramos or Fedchenko. That's pathetic straw-manning if you're looking to put words in anybody's mouth, like someone ever said those wins rank up there with Marquez's best.
I remember that fight against Freddie Norwood which i think he took too soon. He made a good account for himself. And that lucky ****** Chris John. I thought he beat him comfortably but no he didn't get the decision. Marquez shouldn't have even fought him in Indonesia or contemplated the idea of it.
The judges' scoring wasn't as deserving of the begrudging treatment it has been accorded in hindsight - the refereeing, however, was. Norwood you could term a robbery.
With all due respect. :yep I also consider myself the biggest Kessler fan, as the Danish posters who only posted in Kessler threads (and can't really be considered objective parties) don't really count.
You're a good poster bro And you know a lot more about baaxing then i do But kindly remove your foot :fire
