    Kovalev or Jones?

Jones has a win over a green, and inexperienced Hopkins who hadn't yet achieved anything worthy of note...

Kovalev has a win over an old, but seasoned Hopkins in a world title unification bout.

For me this is a pretty easy one, Jones fanatics tend to overrate his win over Hopkins... It really isn't that great of a win.

You're asking a very stupid question. Is the pope a Catholic?

We'll see if it really was a stupid question once people start hitting the polls. :think

As opposed to the green experienced fighter who was on his way up, and had a late start? Yeah makes sense... Not the experienced multiple time world champion, who despite his age was still very capable in the ring.

Yeah that's fine, I just don't think your reasoning is correct. If you could elaborate more, and give more reason besides age as to why you think Jones has the better win over Hopkins that would be nice.

Hopkins was a late bloomer, but jesus man. Wasn't Hopkins like 24 in that fight? It's not like he was a teenager.

Hopkins had a late start... Didn't start boxing until he was in prison if I'm not mistaken, he wasn't exactly a decorated fighter with a lot of experience when Jones beat him.

Hop started young as a boxer, stopped when he hit the streets and took boxing serious again while in prison. Jones has the better win.

49 year old Hopkins had world titles, the 28 year old version didn't. :good

The title doesn't make the fighter anymore. Alphabet junk is useless. 24 year old Hopkins would have murdered 49 year old Hopkins.
