Every now and then they make a fight that I just inexplicably don't give a **** about. This is one.

    Berto vs. Lopez, you mean?

In all honesty, it means a fat lot of nothing.

    It'll be good, though, y'know?

And that's enough sometimes. Not everything can be Schmeling vs Louis.

I favor Lopez on points. He strikes me as a very similar fighter to JSK, a couple of notches less durable and a notch less power but technically a notch better. And we saw what happened in JSK vs Berto. The fight is still pretty much a toss-up to me but that's how I'm leaning.

Nah, not fussed. Just no interested. Unless it's a stuck on classic i'l probably skip it all together.

Didnt Berto get a career threatening injury early on against JSK?

Hardly the best fight to judge him on

    And he almost won. 105-03 104-104 103-105
It was a close a fight

And the fact that Berto won 4 rounds againsst Guerrero after those terrible first two rounds, says a lot about Berto.

Not a fraud some me him out to be

It wasn't as close as the cards indicated. And Berto isn't a fraud, just a guy with potential that has never really improved his boxing craft. He's still a dangerous fighter as it stands.
