Translation: "My biggest win is Murray yet no one wants to give me a payday" and then proceeds to turn down Lara.

why let facts get in the way of denegrating a fighter not of his race?

They turned down Lara last year for Geale at the Gardens, a more logical fight.

Why do you people keep acting like an article from 13 months ago is a response to a recent twitter? I don't think anything has been turned down or even officially offered.

Lara would be GGGs toughest fight to date by far and a style he's never seen before. I can see Lara giving Golovkin fits and potentially beating him

it is..how the hell is a year old article a response to something that recently happened?

I remember well. People were saying Golovkin should fight Lara if he couldn't get any top MWs in his next fights. But he got top two MWs in his next fights and took a mandatory spot from Rubio to face Cotto.

What is Golovkin's next fight? I haven't heard anything, have you?

He could either face Cotto or fight for his vacated title this year. Froch also appears to finally be interested.

You agree these fights take priority over Lara? If you don't you have issues.

if lara ran like that against alvarez just imagine how he would run against ggg. fight would be hilarious!!

for now it seems that ggg's team is going to put him in there against sure wins like cotto, quillin, which would be one sided massacres, i would be much more impressed if ggg takes on the frochs, wards, abrahams etc etc. if canelo can come up to 160 and show us something against a top MW contender, that would be a great match up as well.

chavez jr if he could make weight and meet ggg at 168 would sell and be a bonified ppv/biggest payday of ggg's career. jr's chin + ggg's unknown performance level at 168 would make the fight very interesting.

aght dude...i guess ggg was working his way up the ranks and now finallly got a mandatory against cotto...

no need to fight lara, the best jmw in the world.

and sure, lara "lost" to canelo so, no reason for ggg to fight him... you make a lotta sense.

Even though I think I had him winning, he didn't even win convincingly enough against Canelo. He may pose problems the first few rounds as Golovkin is known to take those rounds to scope out an opponent and feel him out. He will eventually catch up to him though, no matter how much lateral movement Lara tries to produce, and when he puts him down, I don't see Lara surviving much longer after that. And if he doesn't get him on the chin, Lara will be susceptible to body shots, which seemed to bother him against Canelo. Against GGG, that'll be a whole different story.

You just schooled these uneducated low IQ'd white people
hating ghetto youths on the difference between an offer and
desperation to make headlines by making a half-ass-d call out.
