lol It's definitely not a coincidence that his name features a G. I posted this line on another forum a few years ago: ''The only way Hagler could've been more badass is if he had changed his name to Lee instead of Marvelous'' lol

Roldan was a cave man but he was a free swinging big punching SOB one.

 My middle name is Lee and I actually share my last name with my favorite fighter.. You might have even been a Roy fan if you were in my shoes Serge.:rofl

Yeah, he was a tough guy no doubt.

Thing is I'm not actually a Roy hater. I've told you before (or I think it might have been Imperial actually) that I've always quite liked him and that I have loads of his fights on my hard drive, about a dozen of which I uploaded onto Youtube before the accounts I uploaded them on got shut down. His fight against Richard Hall was the most popular video I ever uploaded on there by a long street, and I used to get quite a lot of views too.

I just like winding up his huggers sometimes. Basically I just give them back what they like to dish out. My main gripe with him has always been the roids issue, and in particular how his huggers try to conveniently pretend like he was clean, but other than that and the dog fighting (which truly disgusts me), personality wise and as a fighter I've always quite liked him. He's remarkably down to earth and easy going for someone in his position.

    Bailey,

I only watched Del Valle-Jones once live and its been like 17 years..

But if my memory serves me correct, the spot on the canvass where Jones went down both fighters feet were slipping on it(but not falling down), before and after the KD... I also seem to remember one of the announcers even talking about it.

I may have to go watch it again to confirm. I will admit I have smoked a lot of weed in those 17 years, and could be completely mistaken.

Didnt Hopkins beat Jones at LHW?
How many undefeated LHW champs did Jones beat?

Prime Jones KO's Kovalev even if he was at SMW weight limit and Kov was still at 175.

I am sure the punch rocked him good, and it was a legit KD.. I am just pointing out I believe the right foot kicking out the way it did had something to do with the canvas.
