He's just picking up paychecks at this point. I highly doubt that he trains.

If you mean he has a genetic disposition to stuff his face at every opportunity then yes it's genetic.

Obese people complete marathons, doesn't mean they could complete a marathon in under 3 hours let alone compete with elite level marathon runners. Arreola maybe able to go 12 rounds at his pace but he's hardly a volume puncher. He average only 33 punches a round against Vitali, imagine what he could do if he could throw 80 punches a round like Vitali.

Trimmer figure, are you serious? He's even worse than Arreola in terms of physical shape, he's 2 inches shorter yet even Arreola has never shown up as heavy as Ruiz Jr has in some of his fights.

But he is more talented than Arreola, faster hands, better combinations and punching technique. But his weight is going to hamper him. He's too immobile and too easy to hit. I don't he'll go much further than Arreola did unless he can get his weight down to 230lbs or below.

I don't know anymore, his last fight vs. Serhei was quite an eye opener. That fight should be considered very worrisome for any fans of Ruiz.

So what? He enjoys life. He always shows up to fight. Yes, he could achieved more if he was more disciplined outside the ring. But he chose this kind of lifestyle, no need to hate. Who are you to judge he can't eat what he wants and drink what he wants...

I will still watch his fights, at least they are always entertaining and he will always look out for the KO win.

Plus he would beat Wilder and Price easily.
