Checked Willie Monroe Jr. Out and It's A Good Fight with GGG...

    I was initially critical of the opponent but to be honest, check Willie Monroe Jr's fights out, and look at other clips of him working out and training. The kid ain't half bad at all...

    I think the kid could make it the full 12, he is awkward, southpaw, and I hope GGG's handlers do not pick the smallest ring in the world as they did with Martin Murray.

    GGG is not hard to hit at all, and seeing some of the footage of this kid, he will give GGG at least a good test.

    This will be a good fight for sure... and I am far from the GGG super fan.

    good to know. im pretty sure the GGG haters will be getting right behind Monroe jr, right until he gets stopped.

    I'm not sure why people are mad at it. It's the best fight for GGG to take at the moment. Monroe Jr. just came off his best win over Vera, and to add, he won the Boxcino Tournament. The guy's one loss is a SD with Darnell Boone who knocked out Stevenson, the current lineal LHW titlist. He's dangerous.

    Plus, GGG had 3 fighters, who are all good picks, listed: Heiland, Johnson, and Monroe Jr. Honestly, out of that list, I think Monroe Jr. is the best one.

    GGG just can't win, but I'm sure he's crying to sleep at night because the FL0M0S on ESB hate him.

    it's not the best fight he could have taken, I'm not pleased.

    But what bothers me is the guys that now start to pick on Golovkin because one of his fights isn't up to par, while at the same time supporting the fighters that fight even lower class opponents and are know to run from Golovkin himself. Hypocrisy overload.

    Who should he have fought then? Quillin/Lee are fighting, Korobov just lost, Cotto won't fight him, N'Dam/Lemieux are fighthing, and Saunders is waiting on the winner of Quillin/Lee. So... who should he fight?

    I thought this fight hadn't been made just yet, and I was hoping for a Lemieux showdown :toney

    Let me be clear though, there's nobody in the division that can hope to beat GGG, so it isn't about that. I don't like The Worm jr as an opponent that's all.

    Joke of a fight. After him it will be Jarrod Fletcher and some other nobody after him.. Anything to avoid moving up.
    He knows he can have soft touches at MW for the rest of his career.

    Im done with this guy. Bum.

    I agree, Ward should move up but he rather stay at SMW for the rest of his career and avoid challenges
