    :-(

That was kind of telling how that fight played out. Especially since the guy was a replacement.

He won every round and stopped a guy he didn't train for. Porter''s pressure style is ugly but (usually) effective

Yeah, he took some nasty shots. I wish it was Garcia in there, though.

Give me a phucking break. Who gives a chit that he didn't "train" for the guy. The guy is a nobody and a lightweight and Porter DID struggle with him. You're insinuating that it was some kind of schooling when it was anything but.

He certainly didn't school him but winning every round and stopping a guy isn't struggling by any definition. Porter's pressure style leads to him getting hit a bit, this isn't all that new or surprising. Doubt how well this style would hold up to a hard hitter

He was a football player as well.
His skillset is very worrisome to me considering, I've watched him literally grow up from amateur to professional. He's completely fallen in love with his strength and overpowering opponents and isn't even giving the indication that he's looking to "box" anymore. That right there is why Kell was able to befuddle him and beat him.

^^Have you boxed before? If not then this thread is beyond stupid. Look did porter struggled with a lightweight? In some degree but so what? You talk like porter should have destroyed him without any struggled knowing he never train for that new opponent in a 10 hour notice. Boy ppl will say stupid things just for the hell of it.

Porter has been found out as a lunging midget with no boxing skills what so ever. If that guy didn't injure his ankle it could have been a long night for t rex arms. What a terrible over rated fighter Porter is, very disappointing

I'm not a porter fan and i think porter is overhype but at the same time i dont understand why ppl are bashing him for abit struggle with a fighter he never prepare for in training? Ppl act like it's easy to win fights without struggling if that fighter never train for his new replacement opponent on a 10 hour notice.

Boxed most of my life. Had my first speed bag when I was five. I'm now 39. Do the math.

I think the reason Porter struggled was that Bone showed himself to be a pretty good fighter who was hungry as hell and came to win. Guy was doing really well until he hurt his leg. And to Porter's credit when given the advantage like that, he took immediate advantage. Good fight by both guys
