I see how you gloss over the fact you called Cotto a test for GGG. :patsch

The whole point of this article was not to talk about if Cotto would be a test for Triple G. My opinion is that he would be.

Regardless if Cotto is a test for Golovkin, that's not the issue. Cotto MUST fight him if he wants to be considered the Lineal MW champion of the world, especially since Golovkin is his MANDATORY. If he doesn't then all he needs to do is vacate the title now and let Golovkin fight for it.

Yea so many great points I don't know where to start.

You said Cotto was a "TEST" for GGG. Talk about delusional and your GGGs fanboy.

Cotto has already said WBC doesn't dictate who he fights.

Calzaghe wasted a majority of his career but thus far has done more than GGG. GGGs career isn't over yet though so he could go on to be greater.

GGGs career of 9 years so far isn't greater than Calzaghes yet but can be.

That's how you be objective! GGG might not do so well in his next fight anyway as his footwork might suffer with your tongue stuck to his *****. :D

I wish it were that black and white . Cotto only wants the title it seems to make a small fighter come up to make big money. It doesn't seem like he is looking to prove anything at MW. Out of all the possible Cotto opponents being entertained not a single one seems to be a strong MW that would get him ready for a GGG bout. That should tell you a lot right there.

Cotto recently said he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to.
It sucks I wouldn't mind GGG becoming lineal and unifying all the titles he seems to have the goods to do it. Then he can reign or move up it would be good for boxing and give us fans some good fights.

That is MY opinion you douche. If that's the case Cotto has to vacate his MW tittle. Like you said he's not a MW, then why does he continue to hold that belt in which Triple G is his mandatory for? The whole debate ends there, vactate or fight Triple G!!!

Also how does saying Cotto being a test for Golovkin shows that i'm a fanboy of Golovkin? I'm actually GIVING Cotto a chance to beat Triple G, most "fanboys" would say he KOs Cotto in 1 round.

I'm not debating anything about Cotto all I said is that Cotto wasn't a test for GGG. Read my above post Cotto SHoULd VACATE! He holds the belt because Sergio sold the belt to him. Cotto is most likely just using the belt as a bargaining chip to bring a smaller fighter up.

Well if he continues to do that, he'll be exposed as a fraud for even winning that belt against Sergio. If he wants to validate himself as a MW, he should fight one and then fight Triple G. Both of which right now he does not seem to want to do.

He doesn't WBC gave him 1 fight optional opponent before GGG . If he was really going to fight GGG you would think he would want a top MW who has similar attributes. Instead he is looking to fight WWs and JMWS I think it's a damn shame because it's holding up another fighters career who is looking to make his mark. Cotto has already made his he needs to step down. I think what he wanted to do was pull Canelo or Floyd up and use the belt as a bargaining chip. Now that his plan has fallen through he will drop it or try to hold it long enough for a winner of Floyd-Manny and I hope WBC doesn't let him do this. But with the money involved who knows. GGG is getting screwed over though.

Depends on who the opponents are, and if he becomes a PPV star.
