That was a pretty decent smack on the whiskers. That said, I actually know at least 20 people who have either fought or sparred Griffin and all of them without exception told me that he was the weakest puncher they'd ever been in there with. And don't forget that Griffin is technically a dwarf, too. :deal
Jones Jr fought just Hopkins and unmotivated Toney, but there's not anyone other special in his resume. Way too overated in this question, Kovalev stops him in midrounds.
so resume vs resume, who is in ko4clevs resume that is special? Serg has a long way to go before hes catching up with rjjs resume - he didn't get a title till he was 30 ! and then it was against the weakest rubbish champ ever (nath clev). Ok so hes doing a good job of making up for his late start, but that's it. or you should stop trolling.
That would be a poor reason for a ban. Even for some of these mods. Then again, some of them are a bit on the humourless side.
How recent? You'll have to clarify. I think there'd only be a handful. I'm going to assume that everybody would have fought to their full capabilities. MW: Sergio Martinez Gennady Golovkin SMW: Andre Ward Andre Dirrell LHW: Chad Dawson Sergey Kovalev
But he also had incredible skills and speed. It's easy to just focus on Roy's chin and Kov's power. What about all of the other factors? Do you think Roy was just lucky that he didn't get knocked out until he was 35, after 50 fights?
Yep, both times by guys older than him who hadn't KO'd anyone of any worth previously in years, and didn't again for some time afterwards.
Some of the mods (or perhaps it's only one of the four horsemen) do seem to be a bit ban happy. To be honest with you, even though the banstick has only been waved at me on a handful of occasions (only one of which I probably genuinely deserved), I'm getting a little tired of being banned. If one of them permabans me in the future, I'm afraid I shall be forced to leave (as you can see from the quality of that gag you were right about me being a comedian lol).
