Pascal was out on his feet and he gave him one chance to rebound and he failed.

Kovalev would have seriously hurt him if it continued.

 

This is not even close to Froch Groves.

The fight should have been stopped when Krusher slipped because Pascal literally did not know where he was.

 

great fight. pascal put up a damned good fight. the stoppage just saved pascal from more punishment. i imagine there will be a rematch, because stevenson won't be in any hurry to step to the plate.

 

whenever a fighter becomes defenseless, it is the duty of the ref to protect the fighter and in this case to stop the fight. At first i thought Pascal should have been allowed to continue seeing that a few times in the fight he throws haymakers when being pressured but after looking at the replay, I realized it was a good stoppage. A pretty good fight.

 

Pascal wak totally f***ed up.

If Kovalev hadn't slipped in the corner he would have knocked him out of the ring. Again.


While the ref was checking on Kovalev, Pascal walked in a spasticated fashion to the other corner on legs of rubber, unaware of where he was or even, who he was.

That's when it should have been stopped.

with that stoppage you would think the ref was brittish ....bad stoppage, pascal could have finnished the fight...he was hurt worse than that in the 3rd or 4th and he recovered from it....pascal could have finished the fight and it ws an early stoppage

Good stoppage. The ref could have let it go a bit longer but that was basically
free-shot territory for Kovalev.
