If they replayed that fight right now I'd watch it again...back to back.

I actually would consider Brähmer a challenge, even with his legs deteriorating with age lately, but no chance he leaves Europe. (nor will Kovalev want to abandon his lucrative base in the US having now gained a foothold)

    Beterbiev isn't ready yet.

Chilemba would be roughly equally as deserving/competitive as Pascal II.

Bika is boring and makes anyone he fights look bad in the process. Not sure why Stevenson took that fight.

A mandatory defence against Nadjib Mohammedi is next I think.

Decent fight. Pascal is one tough guy, but his lack of boxing skill, does him in against good technical boxers. Kovalev is that and a power puncher. Pascal had the right idea at times, but doesn't really have the style or punch output to meet fire with fire like he needed to. Good win for Kovalev.

Can't say im 100% familiar with the details of Kovalev's case but death is rare in the ring, chance of it happening again in a Kovalev fight is approaching zero. IMO fatalities/brain bleeds mostly occur because something was wrong with the guy getting hit.
