That's fine, you've clearly got no interest in what happens in the ring and it's obvious that conversation with you is pointless.

    Thanks for your time.

Boxed Ears used to be a serious poster and sometimes posts serious stuff on the Classic forum. He's just trolling the General now. Don't take him seriously. I never reply to him because he's always on "troll mode" in the general forum.

    Yeah, sort of...

But he can swim, even when there's no water.

No one is saying Kovalev is some boxing master. He is an average boxer with average speed but superior power. I think he also has very underrated in his punches, they are accurate well timed punches.

Kovalev did adapt in this fight. When Pascal started timing his counter with his superior speed Kovalev started throwing the jabs instead of rushing in. When he had Pascal on the rope he didn't go wild looking for a KO like he did in the early rnds. Instead he worked the body. That is adapting. If you think he just stands there and takes punches to win fight you don't know **** about boxing.

I don't think you beat Hopkins or Pascal by being an "average" fighter. An average fighter is a guy like Murat or Cloud. Kovalev is a very good boxer with heavy hands.

I think that came out wrong. What I meant to say is there isn't anything fancy about his style.
