He just knocked out a guy who has never been KO'ed. And hurt him with both hands but all you can get from that is that he is a one handed fighter because he wasn't using his left hand more?? You are ****ing clueless about the sport.
No, it most certainly was not working perfectly. Not at all. If you think it was, then you really don't know what you are talking about.
No, you dumb fukking kunt, that is not what I said at all. You obviously do not know how to box and have never boxed before in your entire miserable existence. I've boxed for almost 35 years. I know exactly what I am talking about.
Reminds me of floyd. Offensively clueless on the front foot and also possesses 2 punches a body jab and a lead right. But obviously floyd hits like a girl and KRUSHER hits like a rocket launcher.
I am currently a amateur boxer with over 20 fights . You dumb *****. Kovalev was jabbing the hell out of pascal. That's using his left hand to set up that right you dumb *****. He doesn't have to throw left hooks or uppercuts if the right hand is landing why would you make it more difficult. Mayweather was reliant on his right hand against guerrero, so I bet your dumbass thought floyd should have threw more left hooks and made it easier?? You throw what your opponent is susceptible against. You don't throw just to throw it you ****ing moron. You say he could have made it easy? How? Pascal is a very tricky fighter and was always ready to explode. Kovalev was slowly breaking him down by jabs to the head and body. He didn't need what the **** you are on about. You clueless turd.
Sure. And when Kovalev threw the left close in (the only time he could throw it properly without it being a counter), Pascal knew to throw the looping right. What I'm saying is that throwing it was throwing caution to the wind... When Pascal throws up the high guard like that, you've got to 1) get close and 2) position so that you're not hitting shoulder. That means the left hook is being launched close-in, and that's what Pascal wanted. He won almost every round, threw twice as many, landed twice as many, knocked his opponent down twice and TKO'd him. Is your criticism that he was too careful? If so, then surely you have no criticism about him eating those counters that only happened because he 'opened up his offense'. There are no style points in boxing, friend. Retrospect is very nice, but Kovalev has no interest in making the fight more aesthetically pleasing at the expense of winning. His strategy was one that had a high win probability attached to it. Okay.
hahahah jesus did you watch the fight?? Was i dreaming or did he not bobble-head pascal 2 or 3 times with left hooks????
Actually, I can, and do, and will continue to do so. I actually do box. I'm actually in shape. I still haven't read one legit argument to challenge my initial position. And that's because there isn't one to be made. Because I know EXACTLY what I am talking about. I AM an expert.
Did you not watch the fight? Did you not see how he kept throwing the right hand ad nauseam when he should've been setting up different combinations? It's a flaw.
Mayweather was reliant on his right hand against guerrero. So did you think that was a terrible performance by mayweather? Did it not cross your mind that kovalev didn't need to utilize his left more because he was beating him with the jab and right?
He got the stoppage and lost 2 rounds most. God you really have no clue about boxing . What combinatios should he have used? I wanna read this
