How is that relevant to anything? As a boxing for 35 years, I have seen referees get progressively more squeamish in stopping fights, and I object to this pussification of this great sport - and its fans, sadly. When I started watching boxing, fans would be virtually unanimous in criticizing these quick stoppages. In the old days, they let men fight it out as men, and let matches come to their natural conclusion - as it should be. And the fans supported letting fights end naturally, as they should!
Magomed Abdusalamov :-( Pascal was done and one should also consider the cumulative damage he was taking in the fight.
At first I was questioning the stoppage, but then I saw the replay where Pascal is staggering, out on his feet, before the last punches even hit him and I realized the ref's call was right. The damage was done to Pascal at the end of the previous round and he hadn't recovered. Pascal was getting battered in there at the end and couldn't defend himself. He didn't go down, but he wasn't able to defend himself and was about to get seriously hurt.
Fans do criticise early stoppages, I don't get your point here? This was not an early stoppage, unless you really hate pascal and wanted to see him decapitated as that would be the fights 'natural conclusion'
Why put seat belts on? When doing an accident, we should just follow the natural movement of our body inertia while the car suddenly stop, and fly out thru the window.
He was fortunate it was stopped when it was anymore punishment would have ended with permanent damage
