One person said Kovalev wouldn't land on Jones. Nobody said he was "untouchable" or "unbeatable" or "superman" like you claimed. And you talk about selective reading...

    I don't see how it's not comparable.

How is claiming someone (RJJ) is the best H2H LHW ever any different to saying someone (Kovalev) would dominate and stop one of the greatest fighters of all time in under 5 rounds?

And no one who has any decent knowledge of the sport thinks Kovalev would beat prime Roy Jones Jr "in five or less brutal one sided rounds"

Yes, of course he only juiced once because he was petrified of that monster Richard Hall.:lol::patsch

Hey don't get mad because all your favorite fighters were inferior to Roy :hi:

Now I see why you talk about him so much

Remarkably, we are still ignoring the drug issue here.

In 2000, Roy Jones failed a drug test, his testosterone levels being 6 times over normal. He made an excuse that he had used an over-the-counter product (which could not give those results) and the IBF inquired no further.

To all Jones nut-huggers on this and all other threads- he's a known and proven cheat. A lot of his greatness is phony.

    Just saying.

As usual, you're wrong. My favourite fighter gave Jones Jr a boxing lesson in Roy's back yard while shot.

Question- how does it feel when your hero is defeated or gets caught juicing? It's never actually happened to me?

That just makes him even less likely to get KO'd in 5 rounds.

The man has beaten two guys at lh. A blown up smw and a 49 year old Hop. We need much more from Kov, but he's on the right path.
    Love his style though.

I am sorry but it is true. The fact that Jones was a steroids cheat is particularly damning, because, like Ali, he is known as a guy who did a lot on pure athleticism. Unlike Ali, however, that athleticism was manufactured in a laboratory.

Not if the rules are well kept. A man like Jones who takes shortcuts has no business being mentioned in the same breath as a great athlete like Kovalev.

^This. OP prolly thinks Kovalev KOs Bob Foster and Marvin Johnson as well. This forum is such a crackhouse.

Prime Jones beats Kovalev like a dog.

Ah poor Hans your greatest fight is your favorite fighter beating a shot fighter who he admitted his opponent was shot prior to their fight:lol:

Hey he failed one test for a banned substance which was hardley a PED you were thoroughly educated on but you keep sticking to that point because like I said all your favorite fighters were inferior to Jones :hi:

Fighter of the 90's Fact :deal

Those counter right hands Pascal landed, Jones Jnr would be landing all night long on Kovalev, and remember Jones hit a lot harder than Pascal.
