Who had Guerrero beaten? who had Maidana beaten since being shut out by Alexander? Who had Marquez beaten at WW? You obviously don't need to a world beater to deserve a fight with Floyd.

You can add Ortiz and Canelo to that list also.

That just makes it even worse. If you are a top fighter, you should be fighting the best. If you are not very good, have a glass jaw etc then it's more understandable if you choose your fights carefully.

Also Khan has earned the right. He has built up a big enough name and earned enough money that he doesn't need to fight Brook if he doesn't want to, that's just a fact.

He can think what he wants. If it works for him, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't.

He might be able to "cherry pick his way to a fight vs Mayweather" because he is a reasonably big name and according to some, is easy to beat so Floyd might want to make some easy money and score a rare KO.

Guererro Berto convincingly. Berto at the time is far better than any WW Khan has beat.

Maidana brutally crushed the unbeaten Broner. Granted Broner was untested at 147lbs but he was still unbeaten and huge favourite. The fact Maidana looked so good meant he worked himself into a fight with Mayweather.

JMM didn't fight Mayweather at WW. It was originally catch weight.

Surely you see that in the examples you have given those fighters had either beat a top WW or reigned at the division below.

Amir Khan at the time he moved to WW wasn't even the top 140lb fighter in th the world. He lost two fights on the trot.

Broner and Berto were no better at WW than Alexander. Marquez had beaten no top fighters at WW or even LWW, Floyd still fought him at WW.

I'm not really comparing their overall achievements. I'm making a point about who Floyd is willing to fight and the fact that you don't necessarily have to have great wins at WW to get a fight with him. At the time Marquez had never beaten anybody at WW and had never fought above LW. The guy was from 2 or 3 divisions below Floyd.

Comparing JMM's WW record prior to his fight with Floyd to Khan's WW record right now.

Berto lmao. Ive heard it all now. As for Marquez, he fought nobody at LWW or WW before Floyd and he jumped two weight divisions for a catchweight fight at 144, Floyd ignored it and came in at 146. But Brook fans want Khan to fight top 10 fighters a couple of times to deserve a shot at floyd! Double standards much?

By no means a khan fan. But regardless that brook has a title doesnt deserve anywhere near a 50/50 split. The same way khan wouldnt deserve or expect a 50/50 split with either mayweather/pacman.

Tbf to khan hes went out to america and took some good names on his ledger...maidana/alexander/mallinaggi/zab judah/kotelnik/diaz. Brooks got shawn porter and thats about it.

Brooks realistic option at this minute is to take the much lower percentage or build his name up taking on good opposition.

His highest payday was 126k as someone alluded to. He should take the lower share if thats what it takes. Tbh hed be better concentrating on getting his status higher and come back at another time.

Eddie hearns trying to pull a fast one here...theres been other people out there that have wanted to fight his fighters and hes told them theyre not a big enough name...and i bet they wouldnt be taking 50 % of the pot. thats for sure. Khans done more, proved more, is a bigger name and deserves the lions share regardless if your a khan fan or not.
