Thats about the strength of it.

Believe me when a guy gets hit by one of Kov's right hands the last thing he is thinking is " next time he does that I'll hit him with a left hook "

" Fvck me, that hurt " is much more like it.

I'm picking Sergey. You can go on and on about his resume and facing a really great fighter, but Jones best win as a green Hopkins. Not exactly an ATG resume either.

I think the power from Kovalev would be too much for Jones.

    KO for Kovalev.

I do know this that after what happened to Gerald McClellan Roy was a little more cautious in his fights and would sometimes be content on just cruising to a UD. On the flip side I also think that incident is why we didn't see Jones fight any savage punchers in his career.

Roy and Gerald were friends and had known each other since their teens from the Amateur circuit and what happened to Gerald did have an impression on Roy.

All we are seeing there is one guy who hits like Kov, albeit at a lower weight, and one who clearly doesn't.:lol:

You must be a Jones fan boy, because according to Foxy big punchers NEVER cruise to a decision, and that is just Roid fan logic.:patsch

Kovalev is a thunderous puncher.. Once he clears out LHW, I think he could KTFO out of some Cruisers and Heavies too..

I have not been this excited about a fighter in a long time.:good

I doubt you will get an answer. Mind Readers theory on another thread is even funnier. He claimed Johnson was in the middle of the best run of his career for Jones.

6 fights prior to Jones Won 2 Drew 2 Lost 2.

    6 fights after Jones.

    Won 4 Lost 2.

He must have had a sh it career if that is the case then.:rofl:rofl:rofl

I already answered him ding bat. Jones was the heavy favorite.

More of your stupid statistics you rely on... Back to back victories over Jones and Tarver was the best thing he did in his entire career..
Tell me genius, how many times was he awarded fighter of the year in his career?? Ill give you a hint, it was the year he beat Roy, so it must have been a pretty damn good run..

    Foxy pwned.:oops::lol::deal

So you gave Kov credit for Saturday nights performance, whoopee do. You spent enough time with your sh ite theories about how Roid was too fast too powerful for Kov to beat him though didn't you?

I still think it would be a good fight, and Roy would land, except probably follow up those right hands with left hooks.:yep

Now who is ranting against everyone NOT called Roid Jones you moronic filth?

For your information ret ard Jones has 3 clean KO's at 175, compared to Dariusz's 15 and Kov's 7.

Your stupid Murican opinions about speed of punch, compared to sheer power mean nothing to anyone other than slime like yourself.

You should take up knitting it suits you better because YDKSAB.

Furthermore imbeciles like you don't even understand that it is impossible to put muscles on a chin which is why Roid has been stopped 4 times with 2 of them KTFO cold. Age has got fvck all to do with that either, your chin either holds up when a genuinely hard puncher hits it, or it doesn't, end of.

And why the fvck do you keep embarrassing yourself, and proving you know fvck all with your stupid theories about " factoring in " garbage?

It's really quite simple. 2 guys get in a ring, and 1 knocks the other one clean out . In the majority of cases there are only 2 reasons this happens.

One of them hits exceptionally hard.

    or.

The other one has got a weak chin.

We know that Johnson doesn't hit exceptionally hard. So you try to work it out all by your little self, with the help of your dolls of course dear.

Now you are angry because I completely obliterated you.

All different styles of fighters, I am pretty sure Dariusz spent longer at the weight no? I have already told you that Roy was a safety first fighter as he got a little older, he didn't always risk getting hit to go for the KO, something both Dariusz and the Krusher were/are willing to do.

It doesn't mean he wasn't a big puncher, he flat out had fighters frozen and unwilling to engage him, he was a big puncher at LHW, no matter what your statistics say... There is more to look at than stats all the time, there is a story there too. Rico also agreed that Roy was content at times to cruise, is he a Roid hugger too?:patsch

Now you are going to deny basic science and call me stupid? You mad bro?:rofl

If you are as old and wrinkly as you say you are, maybe you should get on some meds for dementia?:rofl

So now you are claiming a fighters punch resistance can't decline with age like any other attribute?? And I DKSAB?:rofl

Do me a favor if you can, next time you reply to a complete schooling of yourself, come back at me with some substance, other than this angry name calling. Old man.:good

I love how the vast majority of the forum misses this vital bit of information.
