Why is glass chinned Roy leading the poll?

Roy would just be another Amir Khan without PEDs in him. :nod Would you pick Khan to beat someone like Golovkin?:lol:

PEDs don't improve a fighter that much. Kovalev could be on PEDs. Without PEDs Roy is still very fast. Without PEDs Sergey is still very powerful.

    Foxy,
I can see you edited your original garbage post with more garbage...

It is you who are embarrassed, and what is the point of having a boxing debate if everything is strictly decided on statistics?? Factoring other things in is important, as everything is not all that simple as a number.

Just because you think simple inside a box doesn't mean I should, but i will entertain you.

    Agreed

Also agreed, but they are not the only two possibilities as you have admitted above.

Roy's punch resistance had severely declined by the time he fought Johnson and had become complete glass..

I have watched his career, and like I said the more you post, the more you expose yourself for knowing fvck all about Roy.

I have posted several youtube videos of him getting hit harder than when Johnson hit him and shaking it off. Maybe you can take your dementia meds and work that out by your old little self?:rofl

    -Both Olympic Silver medalist.
    -Both good skillets
-Both let down by the glass chin. :deal

The only difference is, Roy was a cheat where as Khan was/is not scared of a level playing field. :nod

Again was Khan the Olympic stand out ? Answer the question genius and Roy was a gold medallist Khan never came close to gold ! Jones was just robbed of it only to be awarded later ..

And was Khan ever the best fighter P4p ? Or fighter of any decade ?

Continue to expose yourself this is comedy gold !

Roy was robbed of a gold.

    Roy Jones>Amir Khan

One let down by a glass chin in his prime, one let down at the tender age of 35.

There are many differences.. Jones is widely regarded as the best fighter of his generation being the main difference.

This has been a pretty entertaining thread. Good arguments on both sides with some funny lines thrown around.

    I'm not disputing that.

I'm saying that hardly anyone would say that Glen would have beaten a peak version of Roy.

:patsch Jones was never awarded the Gold Medal later. You're his biggest fanboy and you don't even know that.

No Khan was not the best fighter pound for pound but all he needs/ needed to make it is a few juicy PEDs while be shoved down your guillable throats by HBO, while beating on journeymen and he would be. :nod

Nobody has said that Roy was a murderous puncher or hit as hard as Kov.

But he had proven power at the weight.

He stopped two 180 plus pound fighters with single shots.

One of those fighters fought 57 times, and retired at CW, with Roy being the only guy to ever knock him out.

Again, Roy was content to box for the most part.

He's said that numerous times, and you could see it in his fights.

It's clear that apart from the Hopkins fight, Kov goes out determined to get a KO.

The only time Roy ever did that was against Griffin.
