Or who ever he loses to, they'll equate it to what they said about Wlad when he lost to Sanders. They'll say that Corrie Sanders would've beaten Muhammad Ali he was that good.

    Premature dyckridulation.

Michael Moorer hit harder @ LHW and Jones went up to HW and won a title. Sorry but Kovalev isn't punching harder than a top 10 HW.

    Jones UD Kovalev

Kovalev made Pascal look slick at times, do you really think Kovalev would be able to find Jones?

    I realize that.

The simple fact of the matter is Jones went up to HW and won a title there. Until Kovalev does the same then all the talk about him KO'ing Jones needs to CEASE. Kovalev has done NOTHING to suggest that he could beat someone who is arguably the best to ever step inside the ring. Period, end of...

Is John Ruiz holding a belt now? :huh

Kovalev and Jones options right now would be Wlad or Wilder. We both know Jones would NEVER fight either guy so why should we expect Kovalev to? You aren't comparing Apples to Apples.

Jones fought Ruiz who literally had no boxing skills to speak of. It was a joke how bad he was.

The FACT of the matter is Jones went up to HW and won a belt there. Kovalev HASN'T. If Jones can beat a top 10 HW then he should have no problem with a SLOW LHW like Kovalev.

Ruiz' resume is better than Kovalev's - and Roy beat him @ HW. Call me when Kovalev has a similar accomplishment on his resume..

Roy Jones Jr is not the best evet, he's not even the best fighter of our era. Both Floyd and Pac are comfortable ahead of him.

Honestly, the GOAT wouldn't be manhandled by Joe Calzaghe ffs ...

Kovalev isn't slow and I have no doubt he could handle Ruiz and in easier more impressive fashion than that joke of a sparring session Jones gave us.

You seem to ignore that there isn't a Ruiz around to handpick right now. If Jones was a current Light Heavyweight he wouldn't be going up to fight Wlad or Wilder either.

Jones may not be the best ever [which is why I used the word "arguably", Genius] but he's leagues ahead of Kovalev - who's best win remains a guy who Jones beat *20* years prior.

    Lol...
