    You really seem to not be able to understand this. Ruiz was so bad Jones moved up and beat him. Toney moved up and beat him and if he had beaten David Haye in 2010 Hopkins was going to move up to fight Ruiz also :lol::rofl:patsch

    That is how bad Ruiz was. The better question is why didn't Jones move up and fight Lennox who was THE Heavyweight champion.

    Kovalev has destroyed 2 of the top 3 fighters in his weight class. All that's left is Stevenson. He wants to unify all the belts. He's facing his mandatory's too. What more do you want?

    Yes because those line of guys Jones fought at 175 like Kelly, Frazier, Hall, Grant, etc were such good fighters all the while avoiding THE real Light Heavyweight Champion. :lol::rofl

    Stevenson is THE Champion @ 175.

    Ok, so Kovalev didn't have a career before the Hopkins and Pascal fights? Fact is, prior to Hopkins, Kovalev beat up on nothing but a string of TOMATO CANs...

    I've got no issue with what Kovalev is currently doing @ LHW - but he ain't on Roy's level. Not even close...

    So if Kovalev fights and beats Stevenson something Roy refused to try and do with DM I assume you would rate Kovalev above Roy at 175?

    We don't.

    Let's wait and see what happens.

    Also, if Ruiz was that bad, he wouldn't have stood a chance against Evander.

    Take that version of Evander from the early 00's, and he'd have gone through any C class HW.
