Who wins this welterweight war between Rios & Provodnikov and how?

Both are similar but so different. Brutal fight. Don't rate either highly.

Let's see how Ruslan handles Matthysse first...

 

I think both guys seem to be very durable. The only way I can see a stoppage is via facial swelling or cuts.

I think it's pretty hard to call should it come down to points but I'm edging Provodnikov's way.

 

I got provo. Rios only has a good chin going for him, nothing else.

and that's why I have Rios winning because Ruslan swells up and cuts easily. Pillow fisted Bradley and Herrera had him marked up.

Rios never had that issue even when he was draining himself at 135.

 

rios screws around too much and comes into camp with a double chin. both are similiar but provodnikov would be in much better shape and would outwork rios.

 

Tough call. I got Ruslan. Rios has a better chin though and I think he'd hurt Provo more. So IDK for sure but officially voted for Provo.

 

Would come as no surprise to me for Rios to win. The value bet might even be the draw.

 

Rios would end up in the hospital, just like Bradley and Algeri, regardless of the result

 

Provodnikov would likely be on the bed next to him too :yep
