3 Bradley vs. 10 Chaves II
    4 Marquez vs. 9 Porter
5 Khan vs. 8 Maidana II
    6 Brook vs. 7 Thurman

How in the world they rank Khan above either Brook or Thurman, let alone both, I will never know.

    For me it would be:

    Khan vs Bradley
    Brook vs Marquez

I think those are two good fights stylistically for the UK boys, and will build toward a bigger fight between them, probably earning the winner a place in the pound for pound list, and making a logical opponent for Mayweather or Pacquiao.

    Maidana v Chavez

For a domestic dust-up in Argentina

Leaving Thurman v Porter to round it off.

Really? Brook vs Marquez? Marquez has had a knee injury and is only growing older. I'd rather see Brook get sparked out by Thurman, or roughed up badly by Maidana.

C'mon Porter and Thurman are not in the same level, do you honestly believe they are? Porter struggeld in his last fight, and arguably lost Diaz Porter might pull off a Diaz 2 on Brook if they rematched though since he obviously learned and improved from Diaz 1. But seriously I always rated Thurman a lot higher than Porter, he has more power, boxing skills, footwork, the only thing Porter has an advantage on him is chin, headbutting and rabbit punching.

No I don't think Porter is on the same level as Thurman (although I do think he is Maidana)- however Porter was not on the same level as Brook and got schooled.

Porter is too limited in boxing skills to ever beat Brook unless Brook doesn't even bothered turning up in any shape to fight like Carson Jones 1- and then I still wouldn't be surprised if Brook won.

Exactly, so Thurman and Brook would be a helluva fight. I don't know why you'd prefer to see Marquez/Brook over Thurman/Brook, or Brook/Khan. It would be a nice name on his resume, but that's it.

First of all, I explained my reason in my post.

Secondly, Brook still beats Thurman (who's mandibular fortitude I am not convinced by) and earns less credit (and less money) than beating Khan or Marquez.

And being that in your revisionist theory Porter is no longer any good, I'm sure Thurman who has maybe similar level win to Porter prior to the Brook fight, we will also hear you claim Thurman was never any good. :-(

I never claimed Porter was the next "Tyson", or any of that BS. I just said Brook was a British bum, packing uk glass, but I was proven wrong clearly. I think Thurman is the goods though, and I don't back nout from my word. If Brook beats him I'll give him plenty of credit. So your reasoning is because they're "easy" match ups for your fellow Brits? Wouldn't you rather see competitive fights?

I think Khan is the harder fight for Brook than Thurman actually, and Marquez would be more dangerous than Thurman down the stretch (being I'm pretty sure Marquez actually makes it to the stretch whereas Thurman will be asleep on the canvas).

I also think if, Thurman is the goods, like some like to claim, that fight can become much bigger. For example I want to see Kovalev v Beterbiev- but there's no need for that to happen yet.

And you won't go back on your word under your current account I'm sure, but will probably alt up and not give him any credit, citing the tactics he used was unfair even though it's tactics often used by your favourite fighters- and Thurman is not in the same league as Errol Spence Jr or someone like that. :patsch

Marquez is not more dangerous than Thurman at 147 against Brooks style. Thurman is a real danger and threat to Brook, I see Brook getting career ending injuries from Thurman.

Why would I do that? I'm not that kind of person, I keep it real, and I can admit when I'm wrong. Spence might be better than Thurman but he's still a prospect.

Like you said Porter was a real danger and would end Brook but as usual you was wrong.

Maybe it would help if you stopped watching boxing through a fun house mirror then you could separate the hype-jobs from the genuine articles and stop calling fights like Porter v Brook robberies.
