Why doesn't Kovalev fight at super middleweight ?

    Cruiser fight around the 210-215 pounds range. That is 20-25 pounds above Kovalev's fighting weight. You have no clue what you are talking about.

    No, he's a LHW walking down LHWs for the most part. It's not exactly uncommon for fighters to cut a lot of weight. The CW limit is 200 lbs, many of them are also cutting weight and coming in much heavier than that.

    Adonis Stevenson was a basically a career SMW. He also weighed 189 or 190 (I can't remember which it was off the top of my head) for the Tony Bellew fight. Bellew was either a pound heavier or lighter than him on the night and he walked around at about 210 lbs.

    He's in a tough situation here. I could see Kovalev start struggling to make the 175 limit.

    He might have to eventually move up to cruiserweight and be one of the smaller guys in that division. He'd then probably fall off the map because nobody cares about 200.

    Could he compete in the heavyweight division? He looks too small for that.

    Kovalev is a big lhw... I think in a few years he will be campaigning as a full blown cruiserweight.

    he has stated multiple times no matter whats offered he couldn't ever fight at 168, the dude is SOLID and a legit LHW. if anything he will eventually take on some CW's, NO WAY does he ever ruin himself for one night of 168
