Floyd wont lose to Pacman. Floyd Money Mayweather will always be TBE. Like I said Ali is the greatest of course, the great Sugar Ray Robinson the finest pound for pound champion ever, Mayweather TBE(The Best Ever), Duran the most ferocious and the list goes on and on etc.

I think it would have a massive impact if either guy loses

A loss doesn't mean either guy isn't great, Floyd was Hall of Fame and a great fighter after retiring following the Hatton fight and Pacquiao was hall of fame and a great before he even fought David Diaz

I feel like 2009 til now their legacies were in a weird spot, every one wanted the fight, but they fought a bunch of other guys rather than each other. Yes Floyd won back welterweight and jr welter weight titles and Manny won the lineal light-welter and WBO welter and a paper light-middle so what they did wasn't insignificant but it was really a side show to the bigger fight that was waiting

Manny and Floyd are the best guys of this era and they are on a collision course. Not saying that this fight erases everything they have done in their careers. But what if Hagler had beaten Leonard or Frazier had won the Thrilla....None of those guys aren't great, but they lost their greatest fight, I mean unless you consider Hagler Hearns the greater fight

Floyd winning solidifies that undefeated record which a lot of his legacy is build on and beats the guy that most people said he hid from to keep the 0. Some say he lacks a great win, he has a lot of very good wins or border great wins, this is his chance to get that win.

Manny has been accused in the past of draining some of his best wins or grabbing Floyd left overs or catchweights blah blah everyone has seen these arguments. I think Pacquiao considering his wins vs the Mexican trio and winning titles at the amount of weights he did has great wins and the depth of divisions and success Floyd doesn't have. But this fight also is big for him too

Like I said neither guy is no longer a great for losing this fight, but the winner will be elevated to another status that the loser, wont be seen at

It would have an effect but only if the fight isn't competitive and if it turns up lopsided the effects would only be short term. They both would still be certified ATGs along side the great names in the future.

Neither of their legacies hinge on this fight. That's nonsense. If that were the case, like Floyd said before, he could've came in the game and beat only Pacquiao going 1-0 and be the GOAT.

Pac legacy would not be affected because he fought the best.

I think this is the first time Floyd fought a legit fighter.

If you look at their opposition, look at the last 9 opponents, Floyd's have better records leading up to the fight.

If Mayweather wants to be considered TBE, the best ever, greater than Sugar Ray Robinson, I believe he can make that statement if he beats Pacquiao.

He will become the Michael Jordan of boxing, the next Sugar Ray Robinson. He's already like Sugar Ray Leonard.

But if he beats Pacquiao he could then fight whomever he wants to reach 50-0 to end all debate about being TBE. He will have beaten the other best fighter of this generation and the fact that he would be undefeated would silence even the loudest critics.

If he loses to Pacquiao? He will be like a Sugar Ray Leonard. Someone who is one of the best ever but not someone who we could discuss him like he's literally the best boxer to ever live. Right now he's fighting for legendary status of TBE when he could have avoided a Pacquiao fight to take some easy path to 50-0.

Losing to Manny will bring scrutiny over Floyds resume. People will say "Floyd ducked Pac for 5 years and when he finally fought Pac, he lost. That means that he would have lost to Margarito, Prime Cotto, Williams etc since he ducked those guys too." A lot more hinges on this fight for Floyd Than Manny and I think you can see the pressure it has on him from the press conference and even him training like Rocky. Lots of pressure on both fighters but much more on Floyd.
