let's talk kovalev's supposed power

    kovalev landed 122 punches on pascal. compared to pascal's 68....kovalev still never dropped pascal cleanly. yeah, i know, they called it a kd when pascal fell through the ropes and i'm sure kovalev's punches helped him get there, but not a clean kd....

    So, you're this vaunted KO KING and you land 122 punches in 8 rounds and STILL can't knock the guy off his feet? ....just because your NICKNAME is Krusher, that don't make it so.

    kovalev won this fight with his jab and simply by taking advantage of pascal's lousy technique...he was able to hit pascal with combinations because pascal stayed within his range...he was able to pile up points because pascal fought in spurts.

    it had little to do with kovalev's supposed power...you hit a guy with numerous free power punches in 8 rounds, you're SUPPOSED to ko him just by attrition...of course, having the right ref helps too.

    i think kovalev's power is probably above average, but look, he couldn't even put ole-ass hopkikins away.

    if pascal and hopkins could take his punch, stevenson will too...but the question is, will kovalev be able to handle stevenson's punch? the answer is HELL NO!

    hes a white supremacist. he should be banned.if you read between the lines, he wanted kovalev to kill pascal. :-(

    You know what would happen if you fell onto the ropes and the ropes weren't actually there?

    There's a reason falling onto the ropes constitutes a knock-down and Pascal did it at least twice.

    He called Pascal's technique lousy...he landed flush on Kovalev and was trained by Roy Jones Jr!

    Just a stupid post.

    George Foreman never knocked down George Chuvalo but TKOed him in the 3rd or so. So, by your logic, Foreman has no power but considers one of the top 5 hardest punchers ever at Heavyweight? Umm, NO. Chuvalo has one of the best chins ever in boxing.

    Same can be said of SRR and Jake LaMotta. SRR has no power cause he never did KD LaMotta in 3 fights.

    never dropped? LOL if it wasn't for the ropes at the end of round 3 or 4 pascal would have landed face down on the floor.:patsch

    Pascal never been stopped before too, has a very solid chin. He was hut several times during the fight

    Kovalev is a power puncher, but unlike most he isn't a pressure fighter or an all action all in fighter, he fight from a distance, a boxer, similar to how Floyd fought earlier in his career when he didn't have as much problem with brittle hands and fought people his weight instead of people outweighing him 20 pounds.
