OK, so a lot is said about memo, and understandable the guy was associated with PEDs. I my self have suspiciouns about his athelets including MY favorite fighter JMM. But I see no one really mentions conte and the man is involved in boxing. Like memo, conte was convicted of distributing PEDs to athletes and the only reason memo was left off the hook is because he snitched out victor conte. Once partners in crime , now sworn enemies. Both are always accusing each other of still cheating. Victor conte works for vada, former ped supplier now turned good to help uncover new methods of detecting PEDs as they have advanced. Now, like memo, conte was also as guilty for his association with PEDs. Both had involvement in secretly supplying PEDs under the table . To me, both stand equal. My question is, if memo's fighters are questioned why aren't Conte's under vada? It seems like people try to pass this off as a one sided knife but its really double sided. All innocent until proven guilty, but again any one associated with these 2 are questionable.
Conte went to prison, rehabilitated, turned advocate of Antidoping. Heredia turn rat, cut a deal, got away while everyone else got jail time. Heredia actually admitted to the grand jury that he is still doping athletes. And you ask who is gulty of suspicion? Are you for real? And if you're really concerned read about instead making these threads of bull****. http://www.b scene.com/victor-conte-clarifies-association-with-vada--71433
Figures you'd say this. So because Conte says he's good that means he is? Fact is, people are wrongly accusing fighters of doping. Guilty by association is what people are using.
As far as I am aware Memo is the one who actually served time but yes theywere both involved. EDIT: Just looked that up I was getting mixed up. I certainly do agree though. These two are expert pharmacists not expert personal rainers and there is a reason, in my opinion, why fighters are paying over the odds for their services and that is for PEDs.
I'm sorry but if you are going to hire either of these two to work with you as an athlete you can't then complain about steroid accusations coming your way.
The fighters aren't the ones complaining. Just because Memo or Conte were associated with PEDs in the past, doesn't mean they always are. It's just agenda-driven fanboys.
No it is not and there are many fighters complaining that are not getting enough press. The fact is these two guys are banned from working in any capacity in baseball, tennis, athletics, american football, and pretty much every other major sport and any of the athletes hat compete that compete within those sports outside of boxing. They should not be allowed to work within boxing either or with boxers and any accusations boxers get for working with them is brought on them by themselves.
Please point out what is so different that I said then from what you are saying, are you trying to troll? I said THE ONLY REASON MEMO AVOIDED CONVICTION IS BECAUSE HE SNITCHED. What it comes down to is that THEY BOTH worked together (literally) to supply PEDs. Both are equally guilty. O conte went to jail, rehab so now he can never be questioned and we are to assume he will never associate himself with PEDs? Yea, because criminals never do crimes after coming out of jail. This is pathetic logic. And like I advised, both are questionably suspicious, you sound like you are trying to paint a pretty picture of conte.
Not boxing specifically, but diet, nutrition and athleticism. Or maybe they're just looking for a place to sell their PEDs. :think
Ugh no. It's not the same suspicion. Heredia never paid for his crimes and he testified and admitted to a grand ****ing jury (you know what that is right) that he is still doping athletes in the middle of the ****ing BALCO trials. I don't even have the words for that degree of audacity. Heredia don't give a ****, he believes in the dope he sells. Conte will always have suspicions because of his past with BALCO. He will carry it around with him sure. However you'd have to be a fanboy to think these two men are one and the same. Btw, you probably don't realize this but Conte has consulted with a number of agencies, even WADA.
I don't understand what point you are trying to make. It sounds like you are trying to say conte is not as bad because he paid for his crimes?is that it? Point is they both committed crimes, both were partners in crime. Conte got the bad end of the stick but it does not change the fact that they both did supply PEDs. Fact is that conte was convicted and did time etc, memo confirmed associate but was let off the hook for snitching. The fact that matters is that both supplied and worked together to distribute PEDs. The fact that conte did time does not indicate he was any less guilty of the crime.
What is so hard to comprehend? One man is reformed. Yes he has a past, convicted, served his time, and will have suspicions follow him. However he is a valued antidoping expert whose worked with VADA, USADA, and WADA. The other is still a criminal. There is no confusion with Heredia, he is still a doping chemist. But you guys think he is the same as Conte. It's not surprising, you're a ****ing floyd guy. Why do I try lmao. And if they are both suspicious what the **** is Floyd doing associating with Heredia? Your holier than though logic has blinders making you look foolish.
So you don't directly answer my question because your conclusion IS that conte is a new honest man lol? Maybe he is maybe he isn't, the fact that he paid the price doesn't convince me he is a new man. This is your personal opinion and not a fact. The goal of the post was to shed light on conte as he usually slides under the radar. So there you go, notice no talk on Manny or Floyd have been mentioned but you couldn't resist. Now your agenda driven responses make a lot more sense.
