Pretty much. Whoever said it was a quick stoppage is a f*cking idiot. Pascal was literally walking around the ring uncontrollably after the slip. HBO didn't do a good job at all highlighting this because they focused the camera on Kovalev. By all means, it was actually stopped TOO LATE.

Yes, that was a clean KD.

You don't appear to know what a KD is.

Going over your posts, you don't appear to know much about anything.

The dude was knocked of his feet twice, one of the times by a jab.

You need to consult with http://www.lenscrafters.ca/?cid=cpc:GL000000:Trademark_-_Exact:lenscrafters

Bottom line: He was able to outpoint and then stop the dude.

Which makes him h2h, better !

Too stupid to merit a retort.

You missed the point (and the boat) here, son.

Pascal COULD'NT take his punch. And Pascal has a better chin than Adonis.

Well you don't know the answer, and neither does anyone else.

Until Adonis grows a set and fights him.

Has anyone pointed out to you that you make pretty stupid posts ?

I'm not sure knowing that would be of much help to you, as they haven't found a cure for STUPID yet.

But at least, if you knew how stupid you sounded, you could STFO and avoid the serious embarrassment.

dude kov literally KHTFO, if not for the ropes pasc would had dropped to the floor like a dead man. and in the 8th the ropes 100% kept him from sitting on the canvas

pacs was so out of it in the 3rd 7th and 8th rounds it was scary. he took way too much of a beating and I don't think he makes it out of round 1 if they match again.

he could NOT come close to taking kovs shots while kov took his like they were nadda. i think pasc took too much of a beating to the head where he should seriously think about hanging them gloves up. kov is the king at 175 and the only reason to continue fighting is to take over your division, that's impossible for pasc to do

the impression that kovalev is a power puncher came from the fact he ko'd guys like campillo and agnew and caparello and sillakh with relative ease....that speaks more to how weak his comp has been until the pascal fight.

i agree kovalev is clearly not a tommy hearns, iran barkley type seek and destroy ko puncher...if those guys landed 122 punches on you in a space of 8 rounds, your ass was going down..... kovalev is more of a technical boxer. due to his extensive amateur career, kovalev is far more skilled than most lhw. this allows him to land combinations at will on crude sluggers like pascal....his ko power is more of a cumulative effect. not one punch power.

..when kovalev is flat footed and trades punches he can be overpowered even by a guy like pascal who's not known as a big power hitter.

dude, the punch knocked pascal off balance and the ropes tripped him...that's why he fell through the ropes. don't just listen to the commentators... watch the fight... he wasn't hurt or dazed. that's why he was able to come right back in the next two rounds and batter kovalev.

max kellerman kept saying pascal is out on his feet...but if you watch pascal, he's NOT out on his feet...he makes it over to his corner on his own power. he's not sagging or staggering...

and he wasn't staggering or falling over himself when kovalev landed the combination that ended the fight either...watch the frickin fight and stop listening to schit and think for yourself. pascal has his hands up....coverhing his face...kovalev goes around his guard with two right hooks....pascal STILL has his hands up and he's still steady on his legs...will he mount a counter attack? will he throw someting back? then the ref steps in and stops it...fcuked up stoppage....totally unnecessary...it was like the ref was one of these kovalites on here talking about "you don't wanna take kovalev's punches, comrade, he KILL ya!"...NOBODY at that moment thought the fight shoulda been stopped...pascal had taken much bigger shots throughout the fight.

well, that foreman chuvalo fight went 3 rounds...not 8. secondly, chuvalo was covering up from foreman's punches and still got stopped. pascal took 122 clean punches for 8 rounds and never went down....big difference.

damn...i read through this emotional rant... and i while i don't think you made a solid point yet, i respect that you oviously have a huge krush on kovalev... but you have to realize this is a boxing forum....boxing is a MAN's sport ... us men are gonna talk about boxing and boxers from time to time on here. don't take it all personal and schit.

Kobalev dropped Hopkins with the first hook he threw I think it's safe to say he has power

the thing with the hopkins fight is, kovalev was much bigger that night...yeah, he dropped hopkins as hopkins was moving away from a punch....it wasn't the power so much as the timing and he fact that kovalev was so much bigger.

    Nothing emotional about it, dude.

It was a calm, point-by-point response to your spew of drivel and nonsense.

I expect the bit that got you worked up and then depressed, was the last paragraph.

You know... where I pointed out the rather obvious fact that you seem ... well, stupid.

Sorry lad, there's no soft way to put it to you, and like I mentioned already, as of yet, there isn't a cure for that.

They're still doing research, so there is hope, down the road, for fu*ckwits like yourself, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you.

Even if a cure for stupid is discovered, a case as severe yours is will probably take a while longer.
