yes, the ropes tripped him....did you see the fight? how could it be so implausible that a fighter who is leaning against the ropes in a bent over position gets hit with a hard punch to his side which sends him backward, tripping over the ropes?...even a dog could figure that out.

i'm still amazed how pascal was able to withstood all those powershots from kovalev. it has to those a-side meff from floyd's s & c's advisor/consultant.
What huge puncher had Pascal faced prior to Kovalev? Sure Pascal take a decent shot. He was buzzed by single shots from both Hopkins and Dawson though. The difference with Kovalev is that he was putting more together. If Old man Hops had more volume, you would have seen similar results to the woozyness Kovalev inflicted upon Pascal. Hopkins throws one punch at a time though, and at his age usually doesn't go for the kill, so a hurtful punch is never followed up, while Kovalev puts hurtful shots together.
The thing is, it is the troll threads that get most replies and drive traffic. If you write something entirely reasonable, you will have 10% of the discussion. That's just the sad reality of these forums.
The idiotic pathetic thread starter is on the ignore list, but regarding the title/topic, Kovalev' power is for real and can't ever be denied. The man hurt and dropped/hurt the likes of Hopkins(despite his age, he's still made of steel and has an iron chin), Pascal, Cleverly...etc and is continuously aiming to fight the best in his division. His power is for real and so is his purpose/career. I'm not a fan of his but definitely respect him.
