    ^^^This^^^

Not to mention he was 17 when he beat the great Joe Gans, took it easy on Ketchel so as to not scare him off from a promised title fight and was nearly blind during one of the fights with Harry Wills who he knocked out cold. I cant think of any other fighter to do what he did. Not Robinson, Greb or Armstrong. The guy was amazing.

Pep is usually considered GOAT at featherweight, but not overall.

Nobody ranks Saddler better than Pep, because he had some wins over post plane crash Pep. Tunney was one of the most tecnically brilliant boxers with a great resume and it doesnt matter if we anyone has seen Greb. We have seen many of his opponents and his resume is stellar.

Ali got too many decisions he did not deserve, and if he had to fight without refs letting him hold on as long as he wanted, his loss total would have gone higher. Ali would spend some rounds holding on to a guys head worse than Klitschko, and would refuse to let go as ref tried to break them.

No we can't probably multiply it by 5 if you knew about Langford you would know he spend the greater part of his career fighting men who outweighed him so stop trying to debate this because its undebateable. Between 1910 to 1920 he was the most avoided fighter in history and described by the press as a giant killer

no one has said langford isn't great, you just made up some exagerated nonsense about him never being the bigger man in a fight, which he obviously was a bunch of times, if you said he was usually the smaller man, and always was in hw fights you would have been right and no one would be saying anything.

The old post plane crash Pep excuse. Pep all of a sudden was garbage and had no wins post accident. SMH. Saddler would have given Pep problems during any stage of his career.

Who said he was "all of a sudden garbage" and "had no wins post accident"? He was still an excellent fighter, but he wasnt the same fighter. Who would be? And who said Saddler wouldnt always give Pep problems. Im sure he would, he was a rough, tough fighter. But the fact remains no one ranks Saddler ahead of Pep all time either at featherweight or p4p.

Ok, He broke his back, and that was back in the day. No modern medical science.

He's better than Saddle, who is a dirty, dirty fighter.:deal

He was, but so was Pep when they fought. I agree Pep was the better fighter in spite of their h2h record.
