what's funny is that only one of those 5 currently fights at MW, and he is the least likely of the list to get into the ring with GGG

    By my count it's 2.
    Cotto and Quillen
Alvarez could easily fight at middleweight too.
I doubt Chavez Jr can still make middleweight so it looks like GGG would have to move up if he wants a piece of him or Ward.

Cotto is the 159 lbs champion holding the true MW belt hostage, Alvarez fights at Canelo Weight (155), and Chavez has trouble making 168, much less 160 :deal

    Are they in payday/$ order?

Money wise, maybe GGG is arguing that Cotto > Canelo > Junior > Ward > Quillin...?

If we insert Froch in that mix, assuming the fight is in England, I think he tops them all... GGG would probably get 6 to 8M to fight him, and maybe 2 to 4M fighting Cotto (assuming same purse share).

Aha, so you will tell us GGG is not allowed to have an eye on Cotto who is the WBC MW Champ :patsch

Add Andy Lee for this year, and Billy Saunders, Eubank Jr for the next year and if GGG beats 3 fighters out of this list he's imo HOF material.

I'd think Canelo and Ward fights would be the highest paying. Canelo due to enormous following and Ward due to enormous, Mayweather-esque hype.

why not? :huh that belt should be rightfully his, as he is without doubt #1 at MW, I just referred to the fact that Cotto won the title off Martinez at a 159 CW

Nope. It will be huge if Ward fights and wins against Froch or someone of that caliber before going against GGG. It might be the FOTY.
