Incredibly Eddie scrambling around to find 7 of the TBA brothers and a can for Anthony Joshua.

The latest show in Hull was a bore and this is looking even worse. :patsch

It's not a bad card at all, you have 3 fairly competitive title fights and then Joshua on the bill to please the casuals. I'm going and have no complaints.

Nelson vs Wilson is a very good addition for the Commonwealth title

Don't know why i'm continuing to debate with you as you're obviously set in your ways about the show, but it is just really Joshua who's opponent we want to find out. 7 fights are confirmed with 3 TBA's and 2 of those - Jeff Saunders and CHarlie Flynn have 1 pro fight between them so the opponents are just going to be your Mitch Mitchells, Siz Razaks and Kieron Gray type calibre of opponent so they are pretty irrelevant anyway and could be announced 48 hours before the show and nobody would care.

With Joshua, most are just pleased that he will be on the bill as there were strong rumours he wouldn't be and unless it was a highish level opponent (which it was never going to be) it would be a one or two round knockover job whoever it is.

Ryan-Saunders, Simmons-JLD, Nelson-Wilson are all decent fights, plus the presence of AJ. I would say 7/10

Exactly - one bout every 2-3 weeks and excitement seriously lacking now come most fight nights.

    Hearn Fighter v Can 1
    Hearn Fighter v Can 2

No wonder boxing is way down the popularity list of sports.

Even the fooking pre rehea rsed wresting has more uncertainty about it if the script has not been leaked.:lol:

Probably right now mate. Saunders has pulled out. Hard even for me to defend this show now.

Am I the only person not surprised that Saunders pulled out of this, forget any talk of an injury, this was his first decent test and watching his last performance would have been a very difficult night.

Looks like he needs a little more time in my opinion.

Just read a quote saying "too early to tell when or IF the fight will be re-arranged".

    Enough said.

Will keep an eye out for him and hopefully Sky will show highlights of his fight.

On other thread, someone stated Ricky Burns is bankrupt with debts of £400k.

Very sad if true after all he has done in Boxing.
