he means he had his own career made a lot of money like the showtime deal before finally facing pac which was always going to happen

now it makes perfect sense for them both because they have beaten all comers and only have each other left

 

exactly but, this thinking is just too logical for most on this forum

 

Haters need to make their mind up. Either Floyd picked him now because he's "shot" or Floyd was forced to take this fight. Can't have it both ways.

My opinion, they BOTH stalled numerous times and it is NO COINCIDENCE that as soon as both of their PPV numbers drop, they decide to fight each other.

I mean let's break it down after Cotto it was Floyd who initiated talk offered 50/50 and agree to everything Manny wanted only asked for drug testing. After Bradley II/Algeri it again was Floyd who initiated talk's terms were in his favor but the fight got done.

After the Marquez KO Mayweather refused to entertain Manny until he got some win's. How that says he was waiting for him to lose is beyond me.

Either way the fight is here so it really doesn't matter, but between the two Floyd is the one who consistently fights guys off wins, and Manny consistently fights guys off losses

 

Floyd is past prime also though, and I think more so than Pac is.

Floyd realizes Pac is not knocking people out like the 2009 version that he ducked. Couple that with pac coming off a brutal knockout loss, floyd now thinks he "picked the right time".

Ever since the 2009/2010 failed negotiations, Mayweather has wanted more than a 50/50 purse split. Pac has agreed to 60/40.

Team Pacquiao has agreed to his demands on additional random drug testing for both parties.

Mannys foot speed has seriously deteriorated since his absolute prime. (Hatton and Cotto). Watch the algeri fight and how much space he has to work you can just see Floyd keeping it on the outside and landing jab after jab.

Floyd is taking the fight because it now makes sense both financially and professionally.
