Jr going to smash Spike to bits, Chudinov is better than Spike.

I'd say they're of a level, with different strengths and weaknesses.

Nobody has ever dug into Chris Jr.'s body the way Spike will, that's for sure. Not Chudinov, not Saunders, and not the king's feast of bums he fought on the way up.

 That would be a howl.

Would that create demand for a Saunders vs. O'Sullivan II? :think

It would certainly dash any kind of triangle-theory assumptions people might've drawn from CEJ giving Saunders more hassle than Spike did.

Highly unlikely but the thought is nice.:yep

But I'd love to see Spike with his newish RJJ like swagger come walking up and nail CEJ is his pampered rich boy mouth.

Spike is no "twinkle toes" and he does have his limitations, even major ones. But, mark my words about Spike , he DOES hit hard, and he IS a tough guy. I know where Spike is coming from and I believe he is a genuinely hard nut. I would be very very impressed if CEJ stops him at all, never mind " blasts him out in a few rounds"!!!

Eubank will win this comfortably. It will be awkward for. Couple of rounds then Eubank will be all over him. Unless I'm underestimating Eubank a bit and he gets on top of O'Sullivan from the off which is quite possible.

I wouldnt pay any attention to Saunders assessment of Spikes power over Eubanks. Eubank hurt Sanders, Spike didnt. Saunders is jealous of the attention Eubank gets.

At first I thought it was a step back for Eubank but now I think its the ideal tread water fight as he will again get good exposure from this with Spikes talking and it will be a good result for Eubank as there are lots of people who take in Spikes talking and believe he is very good. He's ok, not world class and will not live with that 12th round onslaught Eubank produced against chudinov.

Although I like Spike, Eubank jr wins this easily IMO

For that to happen Eubank will have to be standing in front of him throwing punches and that means Spike will be throwing back. BJS shut Spike out by dancing away from him, wisely, for 12 rounds, Spike is a much tougher brawler than Chudinov and he would welcome a Eubank assault. I think Eubank would need to box to a plan if he wanted to beat Spike impressively, rather than walking in throwing punches at him.

As others have pretty much said, Spike is crude, but he is very strong, whacks and welcomes a trade. He has also been taking the game much more serious and had access to better sparring and training since the BJS fight, including plenty of sparring with the man himself (they became pretty good friends after their fight despite some needle beforehand IIRC)

I think it's an interesting one and Spike presents a different set of challenges than Chudinov

Sullivan is a guy who only fought absolute bums and got terrorized by the only decent boxer he fought. I don't see how this one will be competitive at all. Eubank gets a KO.
