He just fought prime Maidana twice, Undefeated young Alvarez, prime Guerrero, Cotto , Undefeated Hatton. Im not a fan of him he is a souche but his resume is not bad he has beaten strong and good opposition. He has only ever fought one man with a losing record. Its really not fair to say that. Paq needs him anyway he doesn't need Mayweather. Look at his record he has fought so many fighters and they have not been the same since gone on to have multiple losses/ never look the same. Garcia has never been a massive name either.

    Elite in what sense?

Pacquiao and Mayweather elite? nobody at WW or LW currently will ever be that level of elite.

Timothy is #3 at WW right now and you'd be wrong to think Khan can't beat him...Khan has everything he needs right now to be the next best guy in the division...the only thing which will work against him is time. His body and style won't be suited to fighting at WW after the age of 30. He will need to think about retirement by then...

Do you think he'll reign after Floyd and Manny retire?

I ggree with you that time will work against him. His style is heavily reliant on his speed, and those things start to fade after the age of 30.

I like his fighting spirit but let's be real. It's some of the funniest sh*t ever when he gets knocked down. Every time. (Prescott, Garcia, Limond). His legs do that HammerTime dance. Don't front. You know it's true. :hammertime

Nope. Unless Pac & May retire after May 2nd...

I don't think they will though.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's only a matter of time until Khan gets KO'd again.

Barring wins over Floyd and/or Manny, if he got the wins over Thurman, Brook, Porter, and Bradley, he'd be elite in my eyes.
