Pac is either going to become gun shy, or he's getting knocked out. One or the other. I anticipate he'll become gun shy and look for one big shot to change the fight, which will never come.

Of course he will, he does that with literally everyone.

DLH/Cotto/Marquez/Canelo/Guerrero etc etc. They were all afraid to punch after May punched them.

Floyds style causes most fighters to throw less..so yeah it is extremely possible. Look at the numbers, they speak for themselves

yes. my guess by the 4th or 5th round if not sooner and everynoe after the fight will say pacquaio would have won if he didn't get tired

If marquez, margarito, or Cotto can't make him gun shy, adding in this is the fight of his life......I'd say 100% no

You do know he increases his work rate and punch output as a fight goes on right? He has incredible stamina..

The point he was making was that the style of fight will make it "seem as if he is tired" because he "stopped throwing as much." That's what some people will claim. They always do. "X fighter got gassed." When the reality will be that Pac will be hesitant to throw punches because of sharp counters and will be forced to think in the ring. It will lower his output and stamina won't have a thing to do with it. On that point we can all agree: Manny has great stamina.

The punching opportunities just won't be as numerous. It's that simple.

Polls on these matters are meaningless. People just vote for their favourites. Please let this be over soon, Jesus.

It's hard to say, if Floyd easily times and starts countering Pacquiao a lot then he will get discouraged. However, Floyd could find it hard to do so given Pacquiao's jittery, awkward style. It just depends.

The sharp counters imo won't come AT LEAST until round 7 because Pac not only punches faster than Floyds last few opponents he also moves faster. Good post though
