I've seen his jab. Its a jab to the body. Not some god like punch. It leaves you open to the counter right hook especially from a sourthpaw.

You ***** nuthuggers are ****ing stupid.

    I'm more of a Pac fan...never a Floyd fan.

But I respect his skills and can see what he does best and will do best on May 2nd

I'm just trying to bring some insight...you can accept or reject my opinion as you like.

Whether I'm right or wrong will be clear after the fight.

There is no insight. You are arguing that his jab to the body is somehow special because its Floyd. The jab to the body leaves you open to the right hook. It doesn't matter who is throwing it.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

Personally I don't feel you can be so generalized and ignore the subtleties when @nalysing two fighters of this calibre.

I understand where you're coming from and the point you're making though.

For Manny to win and exploit the holes that Floyd has he will have to apply constant pressure to dictate pace......of course Manny can't just go in on Floyd with reckless abandoned.....his attack has to be intelligent and varied.

Which is at the very foundation of Pacquiao's style. It's a very awkward rhythm that Manny has.....he darts in and out, changes angles and explodes at weird angles...

Most of Manny's opponents had problems figuring out their timing because of this Pacquiao quality. JMM of course found it and perfectly countered him after 4 fights.....but it took Juan 43 rounds to get that just right against Pac.

Manny is older and has lost that killer instinct that we were used to seeing 5 and 6 years ago.....the only way for Pac to beat Floyd is to get that fire back that made Floyd so reluctant to face him in 2009 or 2010. Manny has to be fighting at a very intense pace to make it real uncomfortable for Floyd.

Mayweather is sharp and accurate against everyone he has faced.....but they throw one or two punches at a time.....Floyd can anticipate and pick off the "one, two" blind folded..... but throw in Manny's speed, southpaw stance and incredibly awkward rhythm and you see why Floyd wasn't ready to make the fight 5 or 6 years back.

Pacquiao couldn't even handle Timothy Bradley's shoulder roll.

Right hook or right hand from an angle works against the shoulder roll, in Floyd's case, the Michigan roll, but you have to have great timing, fast hands, or both for it to work on Floyd. Judah caught Floyd walking in, something extremely hard to do against a fleet of feet, quick counterpuncher like Floyd.

Mosley I believe the first time he caught Floyd, he started with a jab to the body, second time he hurt Floyd it was a feint to the body, and the third time when Floyd almost went down it was body and then the big right hand in close quarters. 3 different scenarios, but ALL STARTED AT THE BODY.

Counter right uppercut will be Mannys key punch for victory. Floyd will be open all night for it

I'm a Pacquiao fan and I hope Floyd decides to take this approach.

If he does, he'll get a serious ass beating.

It will be the ass beating of a decade.

The only shock will be how easily Pacquaio will be able to tag Mayweather.

Floyd uses the shoulder roll against orthodox fighters and disappears, and he throws jabs and lead rights against southpaws and disappears. Bottom line Floyd adapts to every opponent and wins.

From Hernandez to Augustus, to Chico to Jesus Chavez to Castillo to Corley to Zab to Dlh to Hatton to Cotto to Maidana Floyd adapts.

Floyd's seen it all in that square ring and Pacs fans have this picture that Pac will be able to land at will and that won't happen. Pacs fans come May 2nd will find out just how good Floyd is and how elusive he truly is.

ahhh of course it matters who is throwing it 100% matters greatly. that's actually ALL that matters, is WHO is throwing it. Every fighter throws every shot differently, just because 2 fighters throw a job to the body or a straight to the body does not mean that both can be countered the same.

every fighter throws their shots exactly how they throw them. using body adjustments and eye adjustments to buy themselves that extra 100th of a second which makes all the difference in the world.

I guess to you a punch is a punch, so in your world HOW is it there are different levels of fighters, if its all the same then everything is equal
    no ?

Floyd pretty much does it all. not saying the jab to the body will be a big part or even a small part of the pac fight BUT there are NO shots Floyd does not throw.

every shot has a time and a place to be used. 5/2 you will see just about every single shot in the books will be implemented to great affect

Floyd never jabs to body vs south paws, any body shot will be lead right hands
