Braehmer just won and looked relatively impressive this weekend, how do you all see a possible unification bout going? (sorry for the lack of a poll the new look of the site on my phone is messing with me and I can't find the option
Why not. Jurgen is a good solid fighter, very tough, powerful and smart. He'd take kova some rounds I think.
Yeah seems a logical match if the Stevenson fight can't be made. Also I believe it was mentioned Braehmer has never been down so a solid chin to test kovalev's power. Still would go with kov by ko but Braehmer is a live dog for sure
it won't be an unification, because Kovalev is already holding the Super belt while Brahmer is holding the regular. He's basically just the WBA #1 contender for Kova. Brahmer got hurt a couple of times by relatively soft hitting Krasniqi, wich probably means he won't get past 3 or 4 rounds with Kovalev.
Not a bad fight to make as Jurgen is no mug but I think he'd get starched if this fight were made. Can't see it though, it's not like Braehmer has ever been a fight anyone anytime type of guy. If he does take a kova fight it'll be a fight to cash out on.
Would be a decent win for Kovalev but it's very doubtful Jurgen would take such a fight, he's basically LHW Sturm with even more protection.
Good LHW match up. Due to styles, I would like to see Braehmer against Stevenson, and would slightly favour Jurgen. Back to Kovalev, I would favour him against Jurgen, but think Jurgen could put up a good challenge
@ Braehmer. He was protected from the heavy hands of both Abraham & Golovkin, both of whom would have left him in a crumpled heap.
Really? Is he not soon to be fighting Abraham? Not sure how someone who has won MW titles so many times and beaten so many top 10 MWs and rival MW champs has been protected. What did you think was Abrahams best MW win?
ko4clev destroys braehmer the fake titlist inside 3 rounds easy (ie easier than cleverly and he wasn't much good was he). even in Germany, it ends under 400 seconds tops. braehmer the eurobum has no chance.
