He didn't look like a WW when he almost killed William Joppy Newbie.

After Tito destroyed Joppy, no one thought he'd get OBLITERATATED by Hopkins. Especially his fans.

Tito had plenty reason to fight Hopkins for middleweight supremacy, he was one of the 2 top middleweights.

    Very silly post

Jon Saxon, I think you meant to say that the worlds best Jr middleweight and top ranked middleweight lost to an all time great middleweight. That's what really happened.

Hops doing what he does with the limited athleticism throughout his 40s is admirable. I prefer watching younger Hops though. Where he still has the athleticism and work rate to do some things, outside of just the lead right hand.

So you have a full blown massive MW who turned pro inside the CW division fighting a former WW who had only had one MW fight, and had been put down 7 times that I know of in lower weights.
I dont think it was Hopkins best win at all

Greatest performance and best win can be two totally different things, would you agree?

They can be, but I dont think it was his greatest performance, as Hopkins was a fighter who turned pro at CW, had many fights above MW beating a former WW who had been over several times having only his 2nd MW fight. Tarver was a good impressive performance in my opinion

Bull****. Hopkins didn't beat him by being naturally bigger than him. He beat him by taking away his left hook and putting on a masterful boxing display.

That Calzaghe victory still loooks good. Imagine if Calzaghe fought Tito?
