Length, feints, and speed matters so no...you aren't just automatically open for the right hook.

if floyd uses the shoulder roll defense, pac will punish him with his quick lead left then fade to floyd's left.

floyd will definitely be keeping that right hand up.

never, that's a bold statement. I cant recall off the top of my head but I would bet Floyd HAS thrown jabs to south paws bodies at some point during his career.

never throwing a shot is crazy, every shot has a time and place to be used. are you telling me not once did Floyd jab to the ghosts or Ortiz body ? not a once ?

    What a load of bull****.

You didn't say a god damn ****ing thing.

if you think that Mayweather's jab is special. You have to show what makes it special. Not argue that it could be special. His jab could shoot lightning out of it. You have to do better than could.

those are some of the primary reasons Floyd does NOT use the shoulder roll vs southies. that's a suicide defensive game plan vs any competent southie

These Pac Fans are going to be shocked when it's Mayweather getting off punches first. The speed between the two fighters is going to be essentially equal. Skills will carry the day.

huh ? i'm not understanding what you're arguing here ? what it reads like to me, is you're saying there is no difference between fighters shots, how they set them up and how they throw them.

are you trying to say that if Floyd and chino threw jabs to anyones body, say threw against pac that the exact same counter would be there, available and landed vs both of them ?

i'm confused, are you saying the speed of the shot, the location thrown from and the location its thrown to would all be indentical with 2 totally different fighters ?

i'm lost on what you're trying to argue here. all I know is every fighter throws every single shot differently, they throw them to the best of THEIR abilities which means they come at the opponent differently, be it speed, angle and with or without fients.

So you are arguing that a square circle exists.

Floyd's jab to the body is a square circle according to you.

Floyd has a very educated jab....he uses it often and to set up the straight right or hook to the head or body. It's something that scores points and sets traps that his opponents haven't been able to figure out. It's not a ATG jab like Larry Holmes.....but it's a big part of his game.

Now tell he how his jab to the body is magic and not vulnerable to a southpaw right hook.

Don't kid yourself into thinking it's only Floyd who is working with a deep set of skills. Manny has a dynamic set of skills that he specialized in as well. Floyd most definitely will land the right and left hook.....he will touch Pac to the body and possibly attempt to make it part of his strategy early on.....but the reason Floyd is so accurate is based on his conservative style.....the counter puncher that Floyd is doesn't press the attack, he sets traps anticipates his opponents next move and uses great reflexes to capitalize on mistakes which take place at range....Floyd needs to take away the tempo of this fight from Manny....controlling range will go a long way in accomplishing that feat. But of course Pac has a style and physical attributes that pose problems for the style Floyd has. The fight is a great contrast between two completely different styles where it makes the fight very interesting as well as difficult to call.

You can't.......that's why orthodox fighters don't throw the jab to the body too often.....the straight left hand is also a punch that is a huge weapon against an orthodox stance. Floyd has had problems with that punch against Zab and Chop, but of course he was able to overcome in dominant fashion......that said, No one on Floyds resume compares to Manny in terms of how dangerous this fight is.

You guys truly are going to find out why Manny will have way more problems trying to connect on Floyd then Floyd on Manny. You Pac fans are going to find this out early in the fight, and only then will you understand why Floyd is Pfp the best fighter in the world lol...

Then you should go back to the post I originally responded to.

    See the contradiction?

Even more so, the jab is easier to pull back than a lead straight right to the body.

    :patsch

A right straight or a right jab to the body is open for a right hook counter. As seen from the clip above.

idk why im even arguing about this.
