Of with ring rust. He is much sharper now. So much better movement, faster, more powerful bunches, than ever before. Back to KO´s with healthy hands.

Honestly if he was a "new" prospect Robert Helenius would be highly touted on this performance. As it stands he beat a guy he was supposed to, and a good confidence building fight to get back on the score board.
I'd favor him over a lot of HW's right now. He certainly adds something to the division.

That opponent was a wilder level opponent. Helenius did look sharp though. Lead hand was quick and accurate. Welcome back!

I saw Helenius training and he looked so much better. Helenius needs to keep fighting, he will knock Wilder out, no doubt about it...............

I would pick 7 foot Taishan to knock Wilder out right now and look out for Boytsov if he gets back to his old form, which appears to be happening after all those surgeries.....................

Couldn't tell much from that. The other guy was way undersized and seemingly not fast enough to survive a round. Helenius should face another giant to show he is worthy at a shot at Wilder or Fury.

At least you could tell the jab was much better, faster and sharper than before.

Just yesterday all kind of shorties walked right through that jab. Also notice the better movement. That is one of the things his dad wanted a change. They wanted to take him away from that Sauerland 'stand in there in high guard and block as many as you can'*. You have to remember that Helenius was originally and naturally a more of a mover boxer before Sauerland changed him.

*I'm not here critisizinf Sauerland style per se. I'm actually a fan, and to some it works excellently, and I do admire it for it efficiency.

Why not. Wilder has only fought one decent opponent.

The guy Helenius fought, Andras Csomor, was the only one they could find in a short notice. Three opponents quit before him with all kinda reasons and "injuries". It is going to be hard for Helenius to find opponents also in the future. He is simply too dangerous (for ones health), too heavy handed. First of all he must fight Dereck Chisora in England and beat the s***t out of him, and KO him cold.

Sure hope he is back. He's got size, chin, and when he is healthy, two fisted power. If he adds a jab and a bit of movement, he is a very dangerous fighter.

The guy Helenius beat up, Andras Csomor, is actually taller than Mike Tyson! (5′ 10″ vs. 5′ 11½)
