he kind of generalizes the punches, there are situation and directions that dont count as the same technique/move.
Floyd's left check hook is used on different variations. He uses it to counter a jab from a southpaw, to get around from his opponent, etc... But it is one of the technique he likes to use and how he uses it depends on who is he facing against.
That guy does the best boxing ****ysis on the internet. His videos of Roman Gonzalez and Rigondeaux are top notch.
I can see how Floyd will use his lead check hook against Manny to keep him at a distance. Pac is really great in splitting a jab with his straight left.
They both have great hooks to counter jabs fighting in an open stanced bout. Who is more effective will be determined by who is trying to use their jab to score and who is feinting.
