    The Lounge was great. One of my favourite threads I remember from there was the one where AngloSaxon started posting nude pics of himself. Everyone was convinced he was just faking being rich and was lying about living on a big estate and owning flash cars so some of the posters asked him to prove he was the real deal by posting photographs of himself standing in front of his mansion and cars whilst holding a piece of paper with ESB and the date on that day written on a piece of paper. It was hilarious when he actually did it shortly afterwards. :rofl

    :yep Anglo was one of ESBs true ATGs. Really gave this place a good kick up the bum when he arrived. Dont know if youve been following him since his ESB days, but he went from ATG troll to hardcore bodybuilder (with a brief stint as a pornstar in between :lol:)

    Yeah, he was funny. I knew that actually. He started a thread about his body building exploits on another forum. I knew about his brief porn career too. I think he posted a video about that in the Lounge on here before it was closed. He also had Charlie Z making videos about wanting to smash his face in at one point too. lol

    There were a lot of interesting and funny characters who used to post in there and you could learn a lot reading threads in there too. :good

    I think Popkins still posts in the comments that old racist SOB, Michigan warrior is MVC, haven't seen people like Anglo, Freddy, etc. I think some people went to check*hook**boxing* when the lounge died or they got sick of being banned for things they would never had before. The pic thread had some funny sh*t on it.

    Mankind was hilarious. There was a really funny thread about a poster called Young Hypnotique (can't remember the spelling now or indeed anything about the thread other than it being funny). There was a more recent one where a female poster called GG posted pictures of her flashing her ass, which was nice because she was pretty hot. :D

    The picture thread was great.

    Terrible idea to shut the Lounge down. I used to love dropping by there and reading the threads.

    I really don't see how anyone could score the Calzaghe-Hopkins fight for Bernard with all the clinching, holding, wrestling, grabbing, and faking low blows he did it was a disgraceful performance. He literally ruined what should have been an exciting fight I guess he knew had he fought Calzaghe straight up he would have lost by just about every round. He looked like John Ruiz in there. :rofl:patsch

    That used to sicken me no end. How such a repulsive cretin who hated Juan could take that name :twisted::twisted::twisted:

    Back in those days i used to have a really nasty bitter rivalry with him. Eventually i ended up getting perma'd, when i eventually returned a year or so later he'd become Popkins and had a new bitter rivalry with Team Elite. Going back and reading some of the fights they used to have just cracked me up. They absolutely slaughtered him


    on a side note i managed to get GGs digits back then and called her up one night..... after drinking a bottle of vodka. that kinda blew it for me :D

    The guy was seriously not right in the head. I've come across plenty of weirdos on forums like this over the years but he was definitely one of the biggest.

    lol Maybe just a shot or two might have been wiser.

    She was hot though. I reckon I've probably still got those pics of her lurking about on one of my external hard drives. lol

    Cottodabodykill was another poster I remember from the Lounge too. And there was that guy with the Hypno Toad avatar as well. I think his name was Wealthy Elite.

    That was a clear victory for Calzaghe. There were some close rounds though, but I can't see scoring for Ugly.

    I was mainly ****ed because on paper it should have been an exciting fight but ended up being an awful stinker. I didn't really care who won but I have to laugh at anyone that says a guy that spent the whole fight doing a John Ruiz impersonation could have won the fight.

    I only watched it twice..

    My original thought was that it was a lot closer than it actually was..

    Hopkins did do well in the first three rounds, after that it was all Calzaghe though, I think I may have given Ugly a late round, my wife threw out the paper I had my score on.

    Hopkins has trouble with fast two handed fighters, he still looks like a master against the limited slow handed plodder..

    He even had to resort to his cheating tactics against the shot Jones which was a complete embarassment.. Roy may have lost that fight, but he made Hopkins look like a beotch.:lol:
