Ok, is this one better than Napoles vs Hatton? Don't recall ever seeing this matchup before...though i may have at some point...anyway....what's your call on this one? Jose Mantequilla Napoles vs Miguel Cotto for the welterweight title. Scheduled for 15 rounds.

i think cotto might be a bit predictable for napoles, as well as not having great stamina. i can see naploes taking over in the second half for a 10-5 decision, maybe a tko if he goes for it.

Cotto would beat the older Napoles from the first Muniz fight...but if Napoles was dialed in and ready he would do well against Cotto's style. He would make Cotto fight the same way he did against Margarito, and in the last part of the Mosely fight...on the move.
I think a wide decision for Napoles generally...

At his peak, Jose Napoles was a far better fighter than a vintage Miguel Cotto. But I do feel that Cotto at his best could have beaten the badly shopworn Napoles who struggled in bouts with Mando Muniz and John H. Stracey.

I don't think Cotto was even as good as Stracey or Muniz tbh.His mediocre stamina and durability will doom him against even the older Napoles eventually.

Maybe he could take a decision against the Stracey version, but he doesn't bring the the kind of workrate, constant pressure and durabiity that Muniz had to hassle an old Napoles.

    Muniz would KO Cotto.

Napoles by tko in round 7. Cotto would be all busted up like Curtis Cokes was, and down several times. Miguel would wish that he were fighting Pacquiao, it would be so bad. This fight would have spelled out Jose's ring name in all caps...MANTEQUILLA.

Pardon me for being blunt but , Mantequila would sodomize Cotto, and the fight would be stopped by the 8th round..

    Napoles was a bad ass

Take note that I said that Miguel Cotto COULD beat a badly shopworn Jose Napoles, but doesn't mean that I said he would do it.

Well, sour-ass, if you're going to spew your usual toxic bull****, then at least be grammatically correct.

    *These

Your fantasy fight threads are dreadful, and you know it.

Next up 'Carlos Monzon vs. Sergio Mora'. "I think Monzon would be too good and knock Mora out". Expert ****ysis as usual.

Just stick to your uninteresting threads about those Thai runts that you love so much and stay the **** out of my threads if they bother your sour old puckered up ass so much. In fact, you need your own damned forum so that you can argue, find fault with and ***** at yourself exclusively. You're like an old trollop with std's. Just go away!!
