HBO to Cotto: commit to Canelo or we won't show your June fight

    That's the problem....it's really just Kovalev & Glolovkin. While they had Broner, Thurman, Wilder, Stevenson, Garcia, Maidana, Khan etc they were all over their d*cks. Those guys aren't huge draws but they can headline a TV card. How many current HBO fighters can headline a card fighting someone outside of the top 3 in their division?

    Not every fight is gonna be a super fight, you need some depth to be able to deliver fight cards consistently.

    Side note: The current HBO 'stars' have cleaned up their divisions already. The major interest now is in them moving up or fighting other champions that have moved up. When they can't do that straight away we get fights like GGG-Willie Monroe Jr.

    HBO should show fight if he fights Heiland. Heiland would likely beat Cotto though, and they do share same adviser. So dont expect it to happen.

    :rofl:rofl Cotto is such a diva, love this. Canelo is the biggest draw available and the most exciting matchup. But Cotto doesn't want to fight him :patsch

    They are getting ready to headline a fight between two guys who aren't really top 3 in their divison. And later, Wlad and Alveraz against guys not regarded as top 3. So 3 of their next 4 cards.

    Yeah thats exactly what he is doing... and HBO is pulling the "Its our money, noone tells us who to spend it on so make a good fight or find another broadcaster" role :good
