I haven't heard one good case for a Pacman victory

Any person with an average-high boxing IQ can not see a way for Manny to win (other than by highly unlikely KO). I understand that many people would like him to win. I would. But, it is simply not a very likely outcome at all. At the end of the day, he is just too technically flawed to defeat a technically sound fighter who has made a career out of exploiting his opponents weaknesses. Manny is a great offensive fighter, but he is also a reckless fighter and often out of position. Ring IQ and ability to adjust, are not Manny's strengths. Don't be surprised if Manny doesn't even look like he's in the same league and this is a Tyson-Lewis of sorts.

Yep, Floyd is gonna exploit all of Manny's flaws while simultaneously not allowing him to land at all. Just like he did to Marcos "What the hell is head movement?" Maidana in their first fight.

PAC man ok is the last thing that will happen, manny on points roach will have him very cautious and he will box the last minute of every round, cannot beat mayweather being aggressive and looking for the ko it won't happen....manny to shock the world and win on points........rematch in September.

Despite all the rough house tactics, rabbit punching, and weight advantage... Maidana landed 26% of his total punches in their last fight. (Mayweather landed at a 58% rate) That's a +/- of 32%.... (The first fight was a +/- of 28% as well. 54% to 26%)

Yes, Manny is going to get worked, and probably land about 20% of his punches. He won't sniff 30%, guaranteed. And yes, Mayweather will be landing 50% or MORE of his shots on Pacquiao. This fight is a mismatch, and always has been.

He is going to make Manny look rather ordinary. A sign of his greatness. He's done it before. I'm not saying it's going to be an easy fight either. Floyd will just make it appear so.

    Pretty much!

I think the only way for Pacquiao to have a chance is to come out full throttle to kill or be killed. Run his tank on empty before the 6 round mark.

Floyds legs are shot. He can't turn with Manny. You need to be in position to throw the counter right first. Manny is going to own the outside angle all night.

If Floyd didn't have the legs to get off of the ropes against Cotto what makes you think he has the legs to take the angles on Manny.

I basically agree with this. I am also a Manny fan but do not see him winning.

Having said that, Its fair for me to remember that I did not see him beating Oscar or Margarito either.

I think there would need to be something that none of us could plan for involved if Manny were to win.

The 35+ Floyd reminds me a lot of the 35+ Ali. Sure he would like to control the center of the ring and box but he simply doesn't have the legs to do it anymore.

Sure every few fights he gets a guy when can look like his old self against but it's fools gold. Next fight back up against the ropes he goes.

Thats all good, but when you consider who Floyd has been beating, having tough times with, etc. You're comparing Floyd sparring with tomato cans compared to another ATG that isn't too far off prime. And then you have to ask yourself, when was the last time Floyd has fought someone on Pac's level? Never. And when has FLoyd faced a fighter like Pac? Never.
Nothing is for sure in this fight, I can tell you that.

Pac is one of the best in the world. He's very fast, has good power and throws a lot of punches. He also has a hood chin and Floyd lacks punching power. I don't see why Pac can't win.

That is just it, This is pac's biggest fight since his Oscar one. He wanted that fight badly and fought his ass off. Now Oscar was shot to ****, etc. But I believe we're going to see a similar Pac, if his body will allow it at this stage. But Floyd isn't prime either. I just don't know, with floyd taking so many fights against inferior competition, where as pac's been in wars and used to hard, hard fights, but I just don't know if Floyd is ready for what is coming, FINALLY Floyd is facing LEGIT competition. I would not be surprised if Pac overwhelms him, hurts him or KOs him, but wins. there is a chance floyd can get exposed here. Its one thing taking on B-rated opposition and usually looking good against, and a whole different thing him being able to do that vs. a LIVE ATG warrior like Pac. I'm not sure Floyd can at this stage. He has slowed down quite a bit also.

That is tue about the Oscar fight, but the main reason people were picking Oscar was his size. The truth is, the styles make fights rationale was ignored in that fight. Manny beat Oscar because logic prevailed, as it almost always does. Hindsight is always 20/20

Most people agree that the left hand is Pacquiao's key to victory

You can go into all the detail you want but landing that left hand and hurting/dropping/stopping Floyd with it is crucial.

If Pacquiao could keep his workrate up high enough he might have been able to win through sheer output...but I doubt he will be able to manage that...

Who knows...nothing is a given in boxing. May 2nd is going to be good. These two fighters are very special.

ROFLMAO Floyd LOST the first Maidana fight. He got his ass kicked. The Vegas Mafia made sure he kept his 0 though.
Independent & unbiased officials & Manny beats him too:good
