Murray didn't "dwarf" Golovkin but yes, he's the bigger guy.

Why is everybody calling out Cotto? Easy - he is the linaire MW champ! As long as he is in the MW division, everybody have full right to call him out any time they want. Especially Golovkin.

Cotto needs to fight proper MWs - not Bundrage (outrage!) :fire:yikes

Cotto will never fight GGG, but challenging Cotto, making fans know who's the real boss of the division, making him give up belts is all part of the fight between the fights.

K2 business model vs Roy Jones Jr??? Jeeezuz that the most st......

Roy Jones was a great boxer, but after losing the LHW belts he should have quit. Instead he continues boxing 10 years past his best by date, loosing to everybody + his mother.

I sincerly hopes K2 applies all sorts of business models to ensure that is not the fate of GGG.

    Read the post you-small-plastic-bag-left-by-dog-owner.
I did not say he had problems with Murray, just relatively more so compared to smaller MWs such as Proksa and Macklin.

NB. if a boxer fights 4 times per year I think you pretty much have to have the next fight lined up. otherwise there is no time...

Ouma was an off-day for Golovkin. Just search the forum. Plenty of info on why that fight lasted so long.

I'm pretty sure that GGG had been sick before the Ouma fight. Looks like dinovelvet has somebody new to hate ...

He shouldn't rush to fight Ward, but if he's going to fight Froch or Chavez Jr @ 168, Ward needs to be in the cards.

    Totally disagree.
Ward got himself into promotional trouble, Ward get himself out of the same trouble. Then rebuild - he will need a minimum of 4-5 fights before Ward-Golovkin makes sense. Check boxrec! Andre Ward fights MAXIMUM 2 times per year. I will stick with 2019 is the year when the fight takes place.

    Sounds about right

Ward brings nothing to the table other than a very difficult dirty boring style that will turn potential viewers off

I didn't say he should fight him ASAP. I said "he should be in the cards".

You need to take the emboldened name out of that sentence,
since he was 181lbs on fight night. Rubio is a huge middleweight
yet GGG pounded him like he was nothing. With that being said,
I don't think GGG should move up. He should stay and reign at
middleweight for the rest of his career and carve out a legacy.
His superfight will come at 160 someday.
