The pressure to fight Pac got greater, and Pac got shotter. Floyd the master of calculation calculated everything, that is there is too much pressure to not fight Pac now, and Pac is shot enough to take the risk. SO it's both, he was forced and he thinks Pac is shot.

If Pac wasn't shot, even if Floyd was forced, he would have retired.

Also floyds had the may date for years but even as far back as pre maidana 1 during build up he stated he was fighting may on cinco then finishing up in sept. He said that before talks resumed. And what kind of smart business man puts a potential (and take into account the numerous problems they were having) fight between canelo v cotto over an allready rocky but much more lucrative fight with pac.v floyd

Seriously it was a clear roadblock by arum, if you want more ridic roadblocks from that snake look up the events from nov 2011 - late feb 2012. I mean i know we wanna stay on subject of the events that actually led to tge fight getting made but i feel its relevent seeing it shows undeniable proof arums put up multiple roadblocks before.

And seeing as bob arum was arguing that cotto was the A side vs canelo and cotto was arumsn fighter (canelo is signed to GBP) why wouldnt arum attempt to make the fight on the june PR holiday?

 

When you are forced to take the fight, you still have options. You can either do it or get the consequences for not doing it. But since Floyd think that Pac is shot, he has to choose to finally fight Pacquiao.

What Roach and other PBF haters don't realize is that if PBF does indeed beat Pac that will make Pac and them look much worse. When considering he was embarrassed and forced to fight and still beat pac. What would that say about Pac? That he couldn't beat a guy who was embarrassed and forced to fight him.

 

If Floyd beats Pac, it means Floyd was the better fighter. Why would losing to Floyd make Pac look worse? Floyd is the favorite to win for a reason. Is being embarrassed and "forced" to fight Manny suppose to make Floyd weaker?
