Not a lot of noise coming from Hearn or Matchroom these days regards Ricky , Heanr and his team constantly tweet bigging up his stable regards upcoming fights , all seems very low key regards ricky these days and personally think hes been slung as peace meal to assist Haymon/Hearn relations , Also the tie in with Tony Simms with Mitchell now fighting Linares on April bill and Ricky not fighting to may the 9th a think in terms of training priorities Ricky will be playing second maybe third priority behind mitchell and joshua, Anyone else think Ricky going stale in this simms camp ?

Perhaps. Could be that he's quite happy going under the radar and Hearn is allowing this by not putting him in the spotlight, just letting him get on with training for May.

Just wish he packed it in and went out on a high after the Mitchell fight.

The last 2 years has been total gash from him and it is not good viewing watching a popular guy not able to perform at his peak level.

I like Ricky but he doesn't have much to shout about so probably best kept under the radar.

Maybe Stevie just maybe Eddie is doing him a favour, maybe like has been mentioned is keeping pressure away from him let him go under the radar knowing if he wins he gets more big paydays in Glasgow, or he maybe helping Ricky cash out from the sport. I hope he wins big time but dont think he is good enough to, would love to be proven wrong though.

Agree can't see burns winning this one! Time to get some domestic pay days and retire for me! Hate saying that as ricky burns seems a top lad.

simple he just needs to get his wages paid into a company he does not own and they pay him a nominal fee and declare himself bankrupt, nothing stopping him paying his missus his fee as his advisor lol. ****** is a ****

I see its in tomorrows paper that Ricky is indeed bankrupt with debts of 400k maybe another reason he is fighting in States. I would imagine with his earnings and supposed modest lifestyle he is only skint on paper. Hopefully he has done a ****** to ****** lol
