High risk? Golovkin would destroy Lara. He's far too good and far too powerful for Lara to win rounds, much less make it to the end of the fight. Brutal stoppage.

Still waiting on one of you idiots to tell me how Lara is going to fight GGG at 16lbs and on HBO if Lara isn't leaving 154lbs or Al Haymon.

    You keep saying that...

look, there have been other fights made where a guy moved up ONE WEIGHT CLASS to fight the other guy...Lara has already challenged ggg. his challenge was rejected for some BS reason... How then does it make sense for lara, the 154 champ, to move up to 160 without a belt and try and work his way towards a shot at the title when ggg and his people have already said that they're not gonna fight him?

Make some sense...look at things from lara's perspective. he doesn't think ggg is gonna fight him, because ggg had a whole year to accept to his challenge and refused....so why would lara NOT plan on staying at 154? he has absolutely NO REASON to move up to 160.

I'm looking at things from Lara's own words.
He said on video that he is staying at 154lbs.
I'm also looking at things how they are in boxing right now.
GGG is under contract to have his fights broadcast on HBO
Lara is with Al Haymon and those guys fight on Showtime or on Al Haymon networks.
Unless Lara's team were to win a purse bid the fight would be on HBO. How is that going to happen? You think HBO would make an exception for Lara?
Haymon is paying his own money for his guys to fight on other networks. You think Haymon will just let Lara go over to HBO to fight GGG?
Haymon payed Peter Quillin to dump his belt rather than fight Korobov on that RocNation show on HBO.
GGG is not going to drop down to 154 to fight Lara. Lara would have to move up to 160lbs. Even if GGG did drop down, there's still the network obstacle.
I keep saying it because that is how it is right now.
The best bet for Lara to secure this fight is to become WBA mandatory at 160 and force purse bids or to get another belt at MW and hope HBO makes an exception for him to fight on their network to unify with GGG.
Either scenario involves Lara moving up, which he said on a video dated March 8th, that he does not plan to do.
Why don't you people understand these things?
It is one or more of the following:
    1.You're a bad troll
    2.You don't follow boxing
3.You have some sort of learning disability

Just ignore the idiot, feeding the troll only makes it stronger. He's a very negative person who's not worth you wasting your time on. Its completely pointless, look at the meaning of his name.

I keep waiting for one of these idiots to tell me another way that this fight would realistically happen.
They are so butt hurt they will never admit that Lara does not want this fight and he/his team was just talking on twitter:lol:

I find them mind numbing and headache inducing, they're either too stupid to realize how full of **** what they're saying is, or they're being willfully ignorant and plow ahead to get a rise out of us, just because its give them some kind of creepy weird thrill. They really are sick individuals.

Lara did earn the fight when he completely outclassed Canelo.

Since the only thing that morons understand is dumb bullsh*t, here goes:
Lara has to beat Andre Ward and prove himself to earn a shot at GGG!
    :rofl

dude, you sound all confused about nothing...it aint that complicated.

look, here....forget showtime...lara is not under contract to showtime....he's under contract to haymon. lara fights on showtime because of haymon's affiliation with that channel, but really lara could fight on any network who will have him. so your whole showtime vs hbo hurdle argument is bullschit...stop repeating that nonsense.

now, it should be easy enough for k2 to approach haymon and request a fight with lara...lara has already made the challenge...k2 backed off. if k2 was down, they and haymon could jointly promote a lara-ggg fight whether it's aired on hbo or not... fact is, k2 don't want the lara fight and said as much...that's all there is to it.

and stop acting like lara didn't challenge ggg a year ago! ggg had a year to accept the challenge. maybe your life revolves around ggg, but lara's doesn't. it was obvious ggg didn't want the fiight and preferred to fight second raters like murray and rubio and monroe instead. lara has moved on...he's gonna stay at 154 where he's the champ. he can make a ton more money as the champ instead of wasting a year or two working himself into #1 contention at mw for peanuts. a bird in the hand...

but if ggg's people can come through and accept the challenge, clearly lara would fight him at 160...or at 154 or catch weight, whatever.

dude, listen to me.... ggg doesn't want to fight lara...it's an obvious duck. lara would beat him and ggg knows it. i'm not blaming ggg for not fighting lara or ward or anybody else he knows would beat him....i'm just saying when you go around talking schit like "nobody wants to fiight me cause i'm so scary"...and you get a challenge from legit fighters and you turn them down to go after a clubfighter, it seriously undermines your credibility.

If Lara wants the Golovkin fight, prove it by moving to middleweight and getting ranked. He's not a major titleholder at 154, what makes him think he can just cut in line? Twitter?

Lara's manager posted some bull on twitter and later GGG manager adressed the issue regarding fighting lara, but TS only see and hear what he wants .
